History
Established in 2001.
Maui Nui Botanical Gardens were opened in 2001 as a repository for Native Hawaiian and Polynesian-introduced plant species…
Today MNBG not only fulfills the traditional role of a botanical garden, but it is also influencing education and conservation programs beyond its borders, seeking out strategic partnerships with fellow conservation groups to identify and grow plant species for restoration programs. Combined, our programs have a reach far beyond our seven home acres.
