Avoid ! We spent 5 $ on a card and got to play 1.5 games. Seriously. You can’t spend cash and all the games are crazy expensive — a nice enough place but the price and format is not worth it at all

We stopped by the Fun Factory while waiting for our movie to start. They had an OK selection of games, but no DDR. My main gripe is that they recently switched over to a card system and it’s really unclear how many credits you get for your money or how many credits you need to play a game. Also, for the token based games, a LOT of them are the gambling type, where you use your token to try and push other tokens down the chute, but it’s unclear whether these tokens actually convert back into money or credits or tickets or nothing at all. Are you simply playing to win more chances to play? The games were fun and the arcade was clean, but with the poor management and signage, I wouldn’t recommend this place, especially if you’re taking kids and are trying to kill more than a few minutes.

They have DDR Supernova 2. That’s good enough for me. :)

I haven’t been to a Fun Factory in almost 30+ years! This place is a throw back to my childhood, and still brings back many smiles and loud laughter of everyone around. It was a super rainy day in Maui and the ohana needed something to do. Someone suggested going to the Fun Factory. We got there and quickly cashed in $ 20 for two little keikis. 15 – 20 minutes later, the money was gone! There were so many fun games to play — all complete with blinking lights and loud sounds. What a fun time! Some of the games were the traditional games — skii ball, air hockey, water gun races, putting the color balls in the dog’s mouth, etc. Many new games as well — motorcycle rides, prize push(you position the stick to push the prize of your choice off the ledge), etc. The best part of the experience was the counter help, Bobby. He was super good with the keikis and made it a fun experience! Bobby was friendly and his energy made everyone have a great time. Thanks, bro!

This place rocks, it’s in the Queen Kaahumanu mall upstairs across from the movie theater. They have Big Buck Hunter which is a huge plus, as well as Deal or No Deal, air hockey, and a ton of other ticket games. Sometimes it can get kind of loud due to the kids, but hey it’s an arcade. Staff is helpful and the prizes are pretty cool. Weakest point is the racing games, most of them are outdated and not so fun, Mario Kart would be great but the item button on one of the consoles doesn’t work.
