In honor of the new year and of course, newly formed resolutions, my mom and I did the 9am class on a Saturday. First of all, our workout area was on the beach! Yes. That’s is correct. It was not in a sweaty old gym nor an aerobic studio without any windows. It was on a beach with the right amount of sand, sun and salt water air. It’s like your gym at home went on vacation with you in Hawaii!(Note: I live in NYC and run around the city as a workout… This was a nice change) The workout was great! It was a total body workout done in sets of several exercises. I don’t remember the exact amount of sets and exercises but the workout lasted a little over an hour. The exercises do not require any equipment, not even shoes! It’s just your body and the sand. You can do each workout according to you, which was nice for my mom. She was nervous because of her age and lack of «exercise experience.» But to her surprise, she kicked butt! The instructor is really nice and very knowledgable. He’s thorough when he explains each workout and the body part it targets. He gives an example and suggests variations to make it easier or harder. I definitely recommend this workout for anyone and everyone. Whether you’re young, old, a seasoned exerciser or someone who is just starting out, wet sweat is perfect for you!

Wet Sweat was a perfect combination of strength and cardio exercises. Each movement is modified to be easy, managable, or challenging. Any level of fitness would truly enjoy + benefit from it. Fun and well executed by the instructor and loved looking out into the ocean as a positive distraction. It was a great sweat and look forward to going again. Gotta try it!
