Very disappointing. I had the pulled pork sandwich and it was so salty I could not eat it. When the Manager came over he had a few contesting remarks. No offer of anything. They have a great location but the food is so so.

Surprising is the best adjective for this place. Came here expecting it to more less be a tourist trap type restaurant, but really, could not have been more pleasantly surprised. We started with the coconut shrimp appetizer. The shrimp came out nicely crispy with a mango sauce, but what really stood out here was the slaw that it came it. The slaw was in a citrus vinaigrette, almost akin to a ceviche marinade. For our mains, we went with the fish tacos and the ahi tuna salad. The tacos were damn near perfect. Three generously stuffed blackened fish tacos with tomato, thinly shaved cabbage, and a spicy crema. Seriously excellent. The dish also came with some type of coconut mango pudding with fried plantains. While I can’t say I understood the pairing, this was damn delicious as well. For the salad, you get about 6 slices of perfectly rare seared tuna and the kale comes with a dressing that is similar to a Thai peanut sauce. Really yummy, and not a small portion. Don’t let the name of Hawaiian shirts fool you. The food, while a touch on the pricy side, is excellent.

Overpriced, very small portions, very commercial feel. The grouper I had was like $ 23 or something and the serving was about the size of a can of cat food. We ordered cake, because the server brought a tray around and there were all these gigantic pieces of cake on it that looked so good. Then they bring our piece out and it’s like ¼th the size. We ask why, and the waiter says, «oh, those large slices are just for display». I felt like we were at a used car dealership. We’ll never come here again.

I first discovered Tommy Bahama in Naples a few years back and when I was coming back to Florida — different location, obviously — I was itching to get back to a Tommy Bahama restaurant. This place is huge and absolutely beautiful, but relaxing. Nothing here disappoints. Nothing. It is a tad pricey, I will say that — but it’s worth every penny. First off, the service is great. Our waiter was exceptionally kind and attentive. We ordered a few drinks, a few appetizers, along with our meals. I ordered a «zero proof» drink, because why not? Blue My Mind. Yep, blew my mind because it was so good, even without alcohol. For appetizers, we got the ahi tuna tacos and the ahi poke napoleon. holy shit, so good. Best ahi tuna appetizers that I have ever had. Definitely recommend. They also bring out complimentary bread like most places which is also really good, it’s made there so comes out nice and hot. Also comes with a house made butter which is also delicious. For our meals, everyone else I was with loved their meals, as for me — I got the fish tacos which I was craving from Tommy Bahama… and let me tell you — you HAVE to try them if you go here. They are out of this world good. My favorite. It also came with a toasted coconut and pineapple yogurt — I think that’s what it was — topped with plantains! It’s sweet, but not too sweet. It’s really, really good. And whats really cool here is that at the end they give you a stack of post cards you can choose from to send to whoever, they mail ‘em out for you — cool idea. All in all — a must to try and definitely, definitely going back.

I originally discovered Tommy Bahama’s restaurants when meeting up with friends in New York for lunch, where the restaurant provided a great place to get together right in midtown Manhattan, where good dining options can be a bit sparse in places. In the same vein, this new Tommy Bahama’s location at Harbourside Place, despite some hiccups, is a welcome addition to the Jupiter restaurant scene, bringing some great food to this ‘new neighborhood’ on the Intercoastal. The setting is classic Tommy Bahama — a casual upscale décor, with soft colors and very comfortable seating. The bar is quite large for a restaurant this size, with high-top seating in the bar area as well. There’s both indoor and outdoor seating, and on a nice evening, there’s a cool breeze that flows through the restaurant, in a very Tommy Bahama-island-like way. The bread is baked to order, in a pull-apart loaf that lets off that wonderful fresh-baked steam and aroma once opened. It’s served with a great house-made butter that just melts right into that hot bread, delicious. We started our dinner off with the seared scallop sliders, a playful take on the classic slider, complete with crispy onion strings. The scallops were nicely seasoned, important since scallops don’t taste like anything if they’re not prepared correctly. I also had the crab bisque which was, by far, the best bisque I’ve ever had and is definitely on my ‘must-have’ list for future visits. My entrée was the parmesan-crusted Sanibel chicken, a wonderfully moist chicken breast stuffed with herb cheese served on a red pepper cream sauce, accompanied with a cauliflower mash and, this night, with asparagus, a welcome substitution over the broccolini listed on the menu. One of my friends had the roasted seasonal vegetables with the grilled chicken breast, and what was really cool about this dish was the ‘cauliflower steak’, a big slice through a head of cauliflower that was grilled on both sides, the same way that you would grill a portobello mushroom. He said it was amazing and the best cauliflower prep he’s ever had. So, why four stars instead of five? My cocktail, a Dark and Stormy, was just okay — the proportions were a bit off, and I ended up leaving most of the drink on the table. Also, the staff was obviously trying to turn the tables, constantly circulating with pen and pad in hand, once asking me if I was done with my entrée when I was only half-way through my meal.(Yes, this happened several times.) Perhaps the staff is taking its cue from management to maximize covers during the busy season in south Florida, but they really need to dial that back, especially at this price point. So, high marks for the kitchen, with one star subtracted for trying to rush the meal. I’d recommend going on an off-night, when you’ll probably have a much more relaxing dining experience.

I have now been to this restaurant 4 times with my wife, friends and I. The service each time has been great and the food, cocktails, coffees and appetizers have been all amazing. We have had Melissa the server twice and she is exceptional and we will ask for her every time. Their coconut shrimp app is one of the best I have ever had. The furniture is great and the ambience is clean and fresh. The menu changes somewhat regularly which is also very nice to see. I want to go every night but until next time Tommy B’s I will miss you.

Went here on my wife’s birthday weekend celebration and all I can say is wow! The food is always the star at Tommy Bahamas and his time was no exception. Fresh ingredients, creatively pair and with exquisite attention to detail, our swordfish and Scottish salmon were fantastic. The coconut shrimp and the crab cakes were first rate as well. The hi light of the evening however was the incredible service we received from Brittany and her very capable assistant Sam. They were very attentive, made great recommendations and were on point throughout the night. Friendly with a great eye for detail and just the right level of service. Not hovering just… right on time, all night long Do yourself a favor… run to this restaurant and ask for Brittany and Sam. You’ll be glad you did!

I’ve yet to have a single less than savory experience while dining at Tommy Bahama. I had an opportunity to dine at both their Wailea & Waikoloa, Hawaii locations. Now living in Jupiter, this was my time time to experience our local location. I ordered the jerk pork tenderloin, which included sweet potato mofongo, pineapple rum sauce and mango salsa. A very generous portion cooked perfectly, very flavorful dish. Overall, fantastic food, service, & ambiance!

Sunday nights here are relaxed and not too crowded, just the way we like it. We always enjoy being seated at the booths which affords a nice view to the outside. Lovely atmosphere(as usual), delicious drinks and food(as usual) and bonus — shopping afterwards!!! We love it here!

Solid 4 + on my 3rd visit, each experience has been equal. Blood orange margarita is outstanding. The fish tacos are my favorite ever, spicy but not too. BfFs cod has been world class twice and the bread is fresh and wonderful. Service is friendly and imperfect but they absolutely try to accommodate every need. Considering the neighborhood prices are reasonable. Setting is beautiful and mostly outdoors but covered in case of rain. Yacht parking is very convenient.

Wanted to take my in-laws to The Woods on Thursday night. We arrived around 7:45pm and there was over an hour wait for a table for four. I can’t imagine it’s THAT good, so we’ll try again once the hype dies down. Instead we walked over to Tommy Bahama and the place was nearly empty. We had great service all around. Everyone enjoyed their drinks, the bread, and our entrees. I had the filet salad. It was good, but I will say that I enjoy U-Tiki’s filet salad better. We ended our visit with a large piña colada piece of cake, which everyone enjoyed. Their location is nice because you can see the water and the amphitheater, but with their price ranges, I wouldn’t go there very often.

For the price, I expected better service than I received; the three stars is because the food and drinks were good; some better than others. Visited on a Sunday in September(2015) for brunch with some friends; party of four. Even though the place was dead(probably five tables seated at that time), we waited a few minutes for a hostess to show up and were then seated. Our server was«Juan M». Over the course of 90 minutes, we saw him a total of four times. We initially sat for about six to seven minutes before he came to greet us. We ordered food and drinks at that point; we had no water yet. He brought our drinks and waters about five minutes later, with one of the drinks having a bug in it. The bartender re-made that one and delivered it, not Juan. Our meals arrived via service staff and they asked if we needed anything else, which we used to get water refills. A solid 20 minutes or more later Juan appears for the third time to ask if we needed anything else; my wife ordered wine which would end up never arriving. We got a look at the desert offerings by way of a different server we saw walking by for another table. Finally, Juan made his appearance with our check; my wife asked that her wine be removed from it since he never brought it, but, it wasn’t on there, so apparently he didn’t even enter the order. Anyway, three drinks and four meals and our pre-tip bill was over $ 100. I left a $ 20 tip because I’m a nice guy, but he certainly didn’t provide $ 20 worth of his time to us; hopefully the restaurant splits the tips with the rest of the staff since we saw them nearly as much as him. Now the positive aspects; pricey but good food. I had the ahi tuna burger($ 19!) and the tuna was prepared perfectly and obviously was delivered to the table as soon as it was done(via the service staff) because it was still the correct temp. The mango salad with chicken was great tasting and fresh. Their crab cakes are quite good and don’t taste like they were pre-made by someone else and frozen. Drink-wise, their mojitos and hibiscus lime drinks were great. The southern charm drink was average; not very strong so not worth the $ 12 in my opinion. The mojito was also not particularly strong, but tasted good, so I won’t knock it too much, but for $ 10, they could certainly do no harm by adding some more rum. At the time of our visit, parking was free. Two words of warning. If you drive a car with even a moderately low profile, you will scratch your bumper getting in and out of the parking garage; it has very steep ramps. There are paid parking machines and gates at the entrance to the garage. My understanding from our brunch guests who are local is that Harbourside Place initially charged, found people hated that, and made it free, but there are rumors that it will go back to paid at some point when it gets popular. Tiger Woods just opened a restaurant there and other tenants are moving in, so it may not be long before parking has a charge again. One last tip. The bridge you come over to get to Harbourside Place from the mainland is a short walk from Tommy Bahama and on Sundays they have a great local market underneath it. You’ll find all kinds of random vendors of jewelry, food, collectibles, slushies, massages, candles, etc.

This is a wonderful restaurant in Harbourside Place. The Painkiller #2 is outstanding and a great way to start a meal here. This is the official drink of the Virgin Islands and this place makes them as good as the original. The appetizer of Ahi Poke Napoleon($ 16.50) is expensive but outstanding and is served with capers, sesame, guacamole on flatbread. The Crab Bisque is unreal and is delicious in every way. It is lump blue crab, sherry, cream, and crushed croutons that comes in two sizes($ 9.50 large /$ 6.50 small). Everything on the menu is fantastic and I had the Macadamia Nut Encrusted Snapper($ 29.50) and would definitely order it again. Make sure to visit the store for some great clothes.

Normally a fan of the chain and though my food was good — a pulled pork sandwich for dinner preceded by the crab bisque soup — the service was spotty, the soup was a little on the thin side, and someone who ordered fish and chips at the table got something that didn’t look all that great. It is a great location and as with a number of the Tommy locations there was nice live music to listen to near the bar area. To be fair on the service side we were a large group that took over the long table not far from the actual bar itself but still I think things could have been handled better from both a point of speed and the correct items coming out for the large group.

What was good was good, the portions were huge and so were the prices. Our food for all but one, was out in record time, but one lone diner was not served until the rest of us were finished lunch. Several request for the missing salad were met with«it’s coming.» Our server was super friendly, but they have got some issues that need to be addressed.

So off to my next find the new Tommy Bahama restaurant in Harbourside Place. The trendy restaurant attached to retail location oozes the sophisticated Caribbean charm that the brand tries to stand for. I sat at the bar to get quick service before I had to pick up my kids. After sitting I waited a little longer than acceptable for my greet, but the attentive Kristin energetically engaged my needs. She took me through the menu and described some of the more popular items including the leaning tower of poki as well as the burger. I ordered both as is my custom. First to the poki stack. The presentation was wonderful but the execution was flawed. It tasted as if the appetizer was premade. It was so cold, and the ouside was dry while the interior was moist. The flavors were nice, but it made me think chain restaurant more than chef driven. That being said, you could do much worse in many other places. Next came the beautiful burger. Macadamia bacon, cheese, fresh ground burger and crisp vegetables — how could you go wrong. Ohhh let me count the ways! The only redeemable part of the meal was the bacon which was awesome. The burger was flavorless and unseasoned, the bun was stale and the fries where old and tasted as if they had been re-fried. All in al i’d probably just stick with the clothes. Till my next tropical getaway — dine fine.

Went there for my husbands birthday yesterday and it was PERFECT! The only reason it’s not getting the 5th star is because although we had a reservation for 6(for his birthday) we did have to wait 45 mins before we were seated. Management was kind enough to honor us complimentary hor’ dourves but waiting did suck. As for the food– OMG the macadamia nut snapper was A++++ my hubby got that while I got the Kona coffee crushed ribeye which was delicious BUT that snapper was out of this world!(def going back for that!)! All in all it was amazing, just VERY busy and a long wait. Hopefully after season, it will slow down a little.

Excellent meal, we came for lunch and wanted to try one of the new restaurants in the area, in the new Harbourside Place. My husband and I shared the Seared Scallop Sliders with Crispy Onions which were delicious and included two sliders! I had the Blackened Ahi Tuna, with a mixed salad of Quinoa, Avocado, Toasted Almonds, Charred Corn Salsa, Sesame Seeds, and Crispy Wontons. It was delicious and I felt a healthy choice for lunch. My husband had the Filet Mignon, with a salad that included some slices of grilled potatoes and crispy shiitakes. He really enjoyed his meal and said the steak was very tender and cooked perfectly. We will return!
