First visit here and I enjoyed it, I would come back. I have to be really careful these days on what I’m eating and going out to eat is almost impossible at most places, but being from out of town and with family, I joined everyone and was able to eat… something… I had a salad. With shrimp. Removed all the goodies and dressing on the side. Boring, I know. But this is how I eat currently. Our server could not have been any more patient with me and helpful. I wish I remembered her name to give her a shout out. The ambiance is nice in the dining area, except for a strange smell when you walk in the door. But you can see right into the kitchen upon entry. Looks clean. The rest of our party had mixed reviews on how they felt about their food, some said good, some just ok… The reduced star for me is the price. $ 15 for a side salad looking sized salad with 5 shrimp. They will be around a while with mark-ups like that.

We had three very good meals tonight: chicken parmigiana, chicken sambalta, and lobster & shrimp risotto from the daily special menu. Each came with a basic side salad which tasted fresh and delicious. The bread basket had warm fresh Italian bread along with a pizza-like bread and a side of olive oil & garlic cloves. YUM! The serving sizes of our meals were big, we ended up with boxed up leftovers. We weren’t hungry enough for appetizers or desserts but there were plenty of options to choose from. Everything was delicious, we were all happy with our choices.

Have been coming to Guiseppe’s for years and they have NEVER disappointed. The entire family loves this place and not just because Hoover(the maitre d’) is so friendly and delightful. From appetizers through apéritif, there’s a REASON why celebs continue to come to this charming and unpretentious spot … the food is consistently authentic and excellent. Recently, I took my Mom(a widely traveled lady who has been to Italy four times and is married to an Italian chef) and she was very pleased with her capellini alfredo, the bread with roasted garlic, the fabulous tiramisu. My veal piccata was excellent, as always. And don’t miss the cappuccino … It’s dessert all by itself!(But don’t deny yourself the cannoli just because you had the cappuccino! It’s rich with ricotta and flavored perfectly.) Other stellar menu options are the parmigianas … all of them, the eggplant rollatini, and the seafood entrees(divine!) The service is friendly and rarely slow, though once or twice in the many years I’ve been dining here a server has been inattentive.(It can be tough to find seasoned wait staff here in the north county.) No worries … just flag down Hoover and he’ll make certain he shapes them up! Though I hate to spill the beans about this wonderful spot and bring on the hordes, do yourself a favor and go to Giuseppe’s … you’ll be going back for years to come!

Not impressed. Got a chicken Alfredo and it was terrible. Chicken seemed like the pre-cooked stuff from Publix. No flavor. Also got a Frutti Di Mare. Expensive. Again, no flavor. Calamari was like rubber. No mussels. Totally disappointed.

If you like over cooked pasta, bitter marinara sauce, and a waiter who disappears after taking your order, this is the place for you!

Very large menu with lots of choices, but the food is very basic and lacks FLAVOR. The Pasta Fagioli soup was bland and the white beans still hard. The Veal Saltimbocca had lots of red peppers on it under the melted cheese EVENTHOUGH it was NOT mentioned on the menu, and came with a very watery and flavorless sauce. The marinara sauce on the pasta was peppery… the only flavor you can taste. I’m not a fan of this place at all, after giving it 3 tries!

$ 11 for an eggplant Parmesan sub. If I ate the box it probably would taste better. I will never go here again

Although we had ordered take-out pizza several times which we were happy with, last night was our first time eating at the restaurant. What an enormous disappointment! I would probably rate the food itself at about 3 stars out of five, everything else was terrible. Tables are crammed in too close together. The noise level is SOOO loud that, with no exaggeration, we had to yell to hear each other. Thus, we ate what we could of our meal without talking. I needed a serving spoon for my meal and try as I might to get our server’s attention, I was unable and FINALLY got the spoon from one of the people clearing tables. By this time, my meal, which was only luke warm when served, was cold. I have certainly had better Itallian food for much more reasonable prices. We both felt the prices were unreasonably high for the quality of the food. The prices were similar to those of Stella’s in Boston/Framingham but couldn’t begin to compare with quality. If you’re in the Boston area, be sure and visit Stella’s. It will be the best Italian you’ve ever eaten!

I went for the first time knowing this was a popular restaurant. It was the worst food I have ever had. My friend and I went for lunch. Surly wait staff took our order. The calamari was not cooked and we had to argue with the waitress to get her to take it back. When it came back it was semi cooked but tasteless. Waited almost an hour for a calzone which was also tasteless. First and last time I will darken their doorway. The«chef» needs to go back to culinary school and the owner would do well to hire all new wait staff. Just disgusting experience.

Amazing! I was absolutely thrilled with the service. The service was so fast that they gave me whatever I needed before I even thought to ask for it. The food was amazing as well, definitely going back. I loved the little bread the put out on the tables. Great Italian food with so many options.

Sunday night and crowded. Good sign. Extensive menu with huge portions at reasonable prices. Entrees come with salad or soup. The pizza marguerita was phenomenal. Fresh tomato slices and mozzarella. I had chicken sorrentino. Wife enjoyed special — whole lobster fra diavolo. Great local Italian joint. Highly recommended.

We went here for my birthday dinner 6÷23÷15. The server was very nice. They had a great selection on the menu. The meals are very reasonably price and you get a lot of food. Let me say that again, a lot of food. My daughter had just been to Italy last year and she felt like she was back there again. They told us to take our time and enjoy just being with our family. Which we did as my daughter had the very delicious shrimp scampi, my niece tried the chicken Cesar salad that she couldn’t stop eating although she was stuffed, my husband had the most enormous calzones that I have ever seen in my life, my brother had the chicken Marsala and last but not least, I had the chicken Mediterranean that came with linguine. My brother who lives here had never heard of this place and has already decided he will be back with his wife who couldn’t make, because she would love this place. My brother at some point snuck away from the table to let them know it was my birthday(because what baby brother doesn’t want to embarrass their big sister, no matter how old we are?). Anyhow it worked. What seemed like the entire staff came nicely to sing happy birthday to me with a very nice dessert. When we were done and ready to leave the owner came to give me a very sweet birthday hug. If you’re in the neighborhood, please give them a try. Especially if you are hungry. Because you certainly won’t be leaving that way.

The bread is always fresh and they always have a ton of it! Muscles marinara is to die for. I’ve also tried multiple pizzas here and they are always cheesy and great. I’ve been coming here for years. Always a happy wait staff that aim to please. I wish they were open more, that’s the only downside. Sometimes I’ll drive by hoping to get some of their good food and it’s closed up /:

Pretty awful stuff — no idea how they are still in business after all these years… must be the Midwesterners or something who have no clue what real italian food should taste? Steer clear — don’t know a single local who frequents this place —
