Great family Christmas tree farm! Ed and his family have owned the property for 70 years. Very personable when you pull up, all the trees they offer are partially cut off trees that are still standing so no trees are cut down in the process. If you go during the day there are farm animals to see and wreaths to make out of the Christmas tree scraps!!! I would highly recommend going here to get your tree this season! Coffee and baileys if you’d like are offered upon arrival!

We showed up looking for a «cut it yourself» experience, but because I’m an idiot — I misread the website or something. The trees are pre-cut, and since we were already there, we decided to look around. I’m glad we did. Turns out, these guys have been doing this for a long time, and by this, I mean harvesting the trees in a way that doesn’t kill the plant. How? I’ll let them tell you all about it, but rest assured this is the most environmentally friendly way of getting a live tree that I’ve heard of thus far. The custom wood stand with water-holder worked BEAUTIFULLY, and was really cheap. They tie the tree(s) on your car for you, or at least that’s how they did for us, and did them in an order so we could remove one, and then the other, based on the order of our carpool. Good stuff.

This place was great. The people who own it were very cool. They were really interactive to me and my kids. Our tree is beautiful and full. They gave us all the info on how to care for it.

This place is remarkably pathetic. Trees are extremely anemic, with many gaps… and this was only a few hours after opening. Also, service was non-existent during my time there. Nobody approached us to see if we needed assistance. Also, lot is extremely small. I had intentionally driven to Julian, rather than to places closer to my home, as I(apparently mistakenly) had hoped that the quality would be better in a rural area rather than alternatives. Save yourself time and aggravation, and stay away.

Fresh trees, appropriate prices. We always go the first day after Thanksgiving(to get the best selection). As of 2014, a 5 year(at least) tradition.
