Chef Jeremy’s farm to table philosophy incorporates fresh, local produce from farms that are literally right down the road. We are a family owned and operated business specializing in fresh and sumptuous foods with grass fed, free range organic burgers, local sustainable pork, bison and specialty desserts with friendly, outstanding service.
We have two separate dining room areas as well as a large covered patio which provides options for family friendliness while still providing for romantic intimacy, as well as providing spaces for private dinners and events such as rehearsal dinners, receptions and all sorts of group meetings.
We also have a wonderful selection of gluten free foods as well as vegetarian and vegan options.
We feature a wide variety of micro-brewed beers and champagnes, as well as a decadent array of not only California wines, but also locally grown and produced boutique wines.
History
Established in 2008.
Jeremy’s on the Hill is located in a historic building from the twenties, formerly known as Tom’s Chicken Shack. We are in the small community of Wynola — 3 miles from Santa Ysabel and 3 miles from downtown Julian with our own parking lot!
Since opening, we’ve added a private dining room and beautiful outdoor patio completely covered with a large white canopy — perfect in the summer months and in the winter months, we have just added outdoor fireplaces and heaters. We have had the honor of hosting many romantic dinners and celebrations, anniversaries, family outings, rehearsal dinners, wedding receptions, car clubs, motorcycle clubs, travel groups, holiday parties, business meetings and so much more.
During the week, we offer delivery service.
Chef Jeremy just purchased a food truck — «Jeremy’s of Julian» and can be seen at local wineries and other locations, and is available for offsite catering as well

Chef Jeremy embraces a Farm to Table philosophy and our menu changes seasonally to incorporate fresh, local and organic produce from many nearby locations. Jeremy, 26, and a Cordon Bleu graduate, has been working with food and cooking since the age of ten. He began his career in the wedding catering industry and quickly advanced. Years of experience and an aptitude for artistry are readily apparent in this young gourmet’s creations.
