Bruce’s Place

I was excited to try this place at first, so I came in for lunch one day last semester. My first thought was that their prices seemed high for a cafeteria, I don’t want to pay the same price for a meal here as I do when I go to a nice restaurant. I was starving so I ended up going with a BLT because at $ 7 for a sandwich it was the cheapest thing I saw. As far as taste, it was really good but I was unimpressed with the employee who made my sandwich. He was scratching his neck and making my food, along with someone else’s without any gloves on. There was lots of food just sitting out on the counter (even though they weren’t that busy and it could have been kept clean while cooking) just made me wonder how long everything was sitting there and also how often the employees actually washed their hands while working.

I have used Bruce’s Place for catering an office mixer and the quality and abundance of food was amazing. I’ve also had a Turkey smoked by Bruce’s and it was just so very good. Bruce’s uses wholesome quality foods that are healthy and chemical free. If you ever have the chance to speak with Bruce I highly recommend it, that man has a wealth of knowledge about food and can put your cooking and thoughts on food in a whole new perspective. If you want service with a smile and excellent food this is the place to go.

Amazing place! The workers are nice and funny! Food is awesome! And the prices are great considering the cost for them to make it all! Love this place!
