Established in 2014.

Uncommon Orthodontics opened it’s doors in Joplin, MO in August of 2014. Drs. Pickard and Signorino bring experience and energy to creating beautiful smiles.

Dr. Bill Pickard has developed an approach to orthodontics that includes not only creating a beautiful smile, but also taking the entire face and the healthy function of the temporomandibular joint into account-​and he is able to accomplish this in most cases without removing teeth. Tens of thousands of patients over the last 40-​plus years have benefited from his education and experience.

In August 2014, Dr. Pickard came out of retirement to open a new practice in Joplin, MO serving Southwest Missouri, Kansas and Northeast Oklahoma as Uncommon Orthodontics. Dr. Pickard brings a fresh energy and commitment to enduring standards of excellence and values that he has been known for throughout his successful career.
