Economy Inn & Suites

Check in time was 2 pm but at 3:30 when we checked in the maintenance man was attempting to place the air conditioner in the wall. This took much time and we were to attend a wedding so we left and came back 3 hours later before the reception. When we walked in there was a large bug crawling on the wall. The air conditioner was no on and the room was like a sauna. The toilet would not flush and when we told the front desk they brought US a plunger. The toilet wasn’t clogged it simply would not flush due to broken parts in the tank. We booked a non smoking room as my son has asthma and after 5 minutes of being in the room he had an attack because of the strong smoke smell. We asked the front desk for a refund since they were at full occupancy and were told we had been there too long. We left and drove 4 hours home after the reception with a small child because we simply could not stay in the room. Rude staff, outdated and broken equipment equals a cesspool of a hotel.
