Manager straightened out the Veterans discount problem from previous trip/​review, so they’re back to 4 stars. Wifey commented on how helpful they always are here. Southern hospitality, y’all. First day of spring… the garden area is packed with temptation.

I may now be known as the crazy washer lady at the Lowe’s in Boone, NC, but I can’t say enough about the OUTSTANDING customer service I received from David in the appliance center and the management in this store! After my top-​loader washing machine died in November, I purchased a LG front loader from Lowe’s. And after a week.. .I just wasn’t happy.. .clothes and detergent pods kept getting stuck in the little rubber groove. Lowe’s took back the LG washer and I purchased a Whirlpool HE top loader. Well, let’s just say, the new top loaders without an agitator just don’t clean well. But I was determined to give this washer a chance. But after six weeks I figured I was stuck with this machine. My husband insisted that I talk to someone at Lowe’s. David, in appliances, checked with his manager.. .they wanted me to be happy with my purchase.. .and would gladly take back this washer too! Wow! I was literally moved to tears.. .I was so relieved.. .that I wouldn’t be doing laundry for the next 10 years with a product that I hated. I did my homework this time and bought the #1 front loader machine suggested by Consumer Reports. Lowe’s delivered my new Maytag Front Loader last week, and after a couple of #$% disastrous loads (all due to operator error) I love the new washer.. .AND LOWE’S!
