I ordered fish vindaloo which was a special dish they were thinking about putting on the menu regularly but only had on there for the holiday. It was a whole piece of fish which really surprised me but once I was able to get it to stop looking at me it was really good. They apologized profusely for the surprise of my fish having a face! Lol My children enjoyed the food very much. Twin one who loves spicy food was sweating when he finished eating and was surprised by that. Twin 2 ordered the grill and loved every bit of it. My ten year old who is a hesitant eater so we really thought we would have to stop a sonic afterwards ate enough to get full and was able to give it a mild compliment. They made his chicken curry with barely any spicy to accommodate him and he was satisfied though it was still enough spice to kick after he had eaten quite a bit. My 14 year old thought the butter chicken was good but too sweet after eating about half the rice. My ten year old also complained that his rice had chunks of rice and he wasn’t happy and told the waiter about it. The man wanted to bring him more rice but I told him he was fine. They brought us an extra appetizer which we neglected to ask the name of but everyone tried it. We ordered a vegetable samosa which half our table said was good and the rest said wasn’t nasty but they didn’t want anymore(this is high praise half of what I cook gets this!). Overall it was good. I took off one star because it was a little pricey and my fish had a face. The service was great. I would recommend it to anyone.

Tandoori used to have a lot better standards compared to these days. Since they are the only Indian or desi cuisine here they lack competition and passion for their food. My last few times ordering the tandoori chicken has rather been really disappointing as the chicken was cut to really small pieces and the amount of rice is also fairly way too little. About the biryani ordering the lamb was also disappointing as they only filled the biryani with rice but hardly any meat. I hope they take their business a little more seriously as the price of the food is way too much for the standards of serving.

Like most restaurants in Jonesboro, this place has too many stars. Just ok, expect a rumble in the stomach after, indifferent but friendly service, a mixed bag of quality on food. In a city, this place would be unacceptable. Choose to go or not, just alright.

This was the first place that was recommended to me when I came into town. I thought the chicken tikki masala was too sweet, I didn’t like it. The chicken vindaloo was better tasting. I enjoyed the naan and samosas a lot. For the price that they charge, I felt like I was paying more for sauce than chicken. The chicken was cut really small and they didn’t give much. I ordered takeout, and the dishes are packed in a pint sized container and the rice is packed separate in a styrofoam container. I heard the buffet was not that great since it sits out for a long time, so my friend prefers to order it fresh. It wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t great compared to the places I’ve tried in Texas and in Philadelphia. Since this is the only Indian place here, I will come back for the naan and samosas and maybe try a different dish.

Man, what a disappointment! When I moved here from the west coast I lamented the glaring lack of ethnic food in the area, but to my surprise I found out about Tandoori. Much to my chagrin I was very disappointed. The curries seems pre cooked and reheated, and very runny. Every other Indian restaurant I’ve been to in the world their curry had at least a bit of viscosity to it, but Tandoori’s seems very watered down. Their rice dishes are OK and the Tandoori chicken can range from acceptable to very dry and not much flavor. Another thing is the price. The lunch buffet with a drink is over $ 12. You might get away with that if all the food was made in house, but the buffet has little in terms of choice, and what they have is not worth $ 10. I’m not sure if other reviewers here haven’t had Indian before elsewhere, but the food here is just not that good. The one plus is the staff is always friendly.

Arguably this place is the best Indian food you’re going to find in Jonesboro, Arkansas. The spice is complex and accurate for Indian cuisine. Heat levels are gentle rather than being super spicy, but this is a good thing for the local population. They can certainly bring the noise, however, if you ask for it. I did ask for very hot, and wound up sweating, tearing, and happy. Prices are medium to low depending on what you order. I did not have the Tandoori grill, but and order of tandoori chicken went past me, and it smelled perfect. The mango lassi was thick, sweet, cooling, and delicious. Highly recommended.

This was without a doubt not only the best Indian dish I have ever had but also one of the best things I’ve ever tasted. Tonight, the chicken tikka masala was outstanding. The samosas were good but nothing compares to the masala. Tandoori Grill is located in an old Pizza Hut building but the interior is nice and the staff is very friendly, courteous and attentive. I will definitely return every time I am in Jonesboro.

I thought I would never touch Indian foods. Since the snow indoor was the only restaurant available except McDonald’s, I went to dry this one. And now I totally fell into love with it. Buffet is 10.40 plus tax. Buffet is good to try as much curry flavor as you want.

This is the ONLY Indian restaurant in town. So, until someone else can compete Tandori will get all the glory and all the stars! Located in a former«Wings To Go» restaurant in a high traffic area of town, Tandori has arrived! … this is a much better use of this property. I have never been to India, but have enjoyed a fair amount of takeaway in the next best thing, and I think Tandoori is up to the London standard!(Shameless brag) The«buffet» was almost embarrassingly limited. Only about 4 entrees. However the endless basmati rice, tasty naan, and Indian staples like chicken curry or tandoori were all well prepared. Service was friendly and accommodating! This place is great and definitely worth a try. For the area, prices are a bit high but definitely worth it when you need a curry in a hurry! Support this local business.

Food is great. The lunch buffet has a small selection, but the menu makes up the rest. Great service too. Staff is always friendly and welcoming.

This is our go-to Saturday lunch place! They recently moved to the old Wings-to-Go location and have greatly expanded the lunch buffet. I love this place so much and I hope more people try it. Extremely flavorful high quality food! The employees are always very welcoming and friendly and will offer help with educating you about the food and make recommendations based off your tastes. They are also vegetarian and halal friendly. Support local!

Northeast Arkansas’s only Indian cuisine. It definitely does not disappoint. They offer a variety of dishes with options such as chicken, goat, seafood, & features a vegan menu as well. Naan Bread accompanied our entrée. We ordered the shrimp tikka massala & chicken vindaloo. The tikka massalla was a sweeter dish with basically no spiciness whatsoever. My only complaint with the dish was the lack of shrimp in the tikka massala. We only had about six pieces of shrimp in it, so it soon became a dish which only featured the tikka massala. Still good, but could have used more shrimp. The chicken vindaloo was our favorite dish. Both my wife and I love spicy food and order it whenever we can. We got what we asked for. The spiciness of this dish was amazing! The heat hits about 2 – 3 seconds after putting it in your mouth(that’s what she said) and is really hot. We had tears streaming down our face, but most definitely worth it. The wait staff was nice & talkative and told us how they made their dishes and that sort of thing. Was not crowded at all which made for very attentive service.
