History

Established in 1982.

Originally a Holiday Inn, and known as «the place to go on the Southside,» the Clarion Hotel Atlanta Airport has seen recent renovations. Besides the typical items to be expected, a new bistro style restaurant concept «Cravings» opened their doors in July 2011. To compliment the hotel further «CloseUp2» our live entertainment jazz lounge opened simultaneously. With this revitalized appearance and culinary and entertainment upgrades, the Clarion Hotel Atlanta Airport is on the rise and soon to be regarded as the «Jewel of Jonesboro,» reclaiming its rightful position as the «place to be on the Southside.»

The Executive Management Team of the Clarion Hotel Atlanta Airport have brought many years of service industry experience to the establishment as of August 2011. With a combined 30+ years in hotel and restaurant management and sales they have striven to revitalize not only the hotel business but the surrounding community as well. Their proactive service-​oriented style has already made an impact on the hotel’s culture and they look forward to an even bigger and bountiful 2012.
