History

Established in 2006.

In 2006, Amy (Mezo) Parrish purchased the building and lot formerly known as Otto Meyers Country Auto Sales. Since that time, the business has grown and developed every year. Today, we employ three assistants year-​round, who become full-​time during tax season. In January, we will hire two interns to help our full-​time staff to keep up with the heavy work-​load.

Business Owner

Amy is a 1992 alumni of Shawnee High School in Wolf Lake, IL, and a 1996 graduate of Southeast Missouri State University. She began her career in public accounting as a staff accountant in Cape Girardeau, MO. After four years there, Amy accepted a position as controller for a privately held corporation. When the opportunity to open her own practice arose in 2006, Amy, a single-​mom at the time, put together the financing and took a leap of faith that resulted in the establishment of Amy D. Parrish CPA firm. Today, Amy and her family enjoy traveling and watching the Cardinals together.
