History

Established in 2010.

I started Patti’s Attic exactly where it says, in the attic of my home in 2010. I have been sewing since a small child coming from several generations of seamtresses. I opened the studio space in July of 2013 when the business outgrew my home space. I am a createaholic, no doubt about it. If you can imagine it, I can probably sew it.

There is no doubt about it, I live to sew and create. I am a creataholic. My family enables me by just the words, «Can you make this cute dress I saw online?» or «This is what I picture in my head, can you make it?» My daughter-​in-​law has a special Pin board named «Patti’s Attic» where she pins ideas she wants me to work on. They keep my creative juices flowing and I love them dearly for it.

My next-​door neighbor once asked me, «What items do you like to sew the most? You have brought over everything from monsters to quilts and everything in between!» I paused and thought about it for a minute and my answer was «All of it!» Yes, all of it.
