I found In the mix by doing a general price comparison on local DJ’s. Matt was quick to respond to all my questions through email & had the best price of all the others. I filled out a song request list & turned it in about a month before my event (vow renewal)
The day of the event Matt was on time & set everything up early before guests arrived. He played all the songs on my list & others similar to my music selection. He was professional, courteous & stayed as long as we needed him to! I’m really glad we picked In the Mix for our party. We couldn’t be happier with the service! I felt compelled to write this review because I noticed they don’t have many on Unilocal and this is one of the places I come first to see if someone is good or not ;) overall 5 stars to In the mix.

I just got Married June 22^nd and we had Matt as our DJ. He was so great and so professional the whole time. He played every song that I had on my list. The prices are so great and I’m really glad we decided to go with him! He does volunteer to meet with you but I was way to busy and did everything through email and it
worked out just fine! Take it from me its a great deal and matt is the best!

Me and my wife got married in Joliet recently, and since neither of us are from the area we were forced to hire some vendors that we were not well aquainted with.
We found In the Mix Entertainment online whe searching the Joliet area and researched them a little further. Their owner, Matt, was very helpful in explaining all the services his buisness had to offer. He volunteered to sit down with us, go over our plans, offer advice, and provide exceptional professional services for our needs.
We started planning well in advance of our date, and Matt followed up with several calls and emails to ensure that our planning was progressing and that we were on track. Matt offered up advice and answered any questions that we had. We sat down several weeks before the wedding and In the Mix came well prepared for the meeting and provided a question and answer form necessary to ensure that everything went smoothly.
The night of the wedding, In the Mix Entertainment was ontime setting up, wore suits and looked professional, and played the songs that we requested.
If you are currently looking for an affordable and professional DJ service in the area, you would be foolish to look anywhere beyond Matt and his team. Excellent job, and Matt if you are reading this, thanks for your help, Tammy and myself appreciate it.
