Established in 2008.

We are a local family-​owned and operated Toyota-​Scion Dealership located on 310 N. Comrie Ave. in Johnstown, NY! We have been proudly serving the Montgomery and Fulton Counties since 2007, when our owners, Joseph A. Steet and Steven M. Ponte were approached by Toyota to open a second Toyota Dealership in the growing area of Johnstown, NY! Since then, we’ve been providing jobs to the local community members, as well as providing the Johnstown-​Gloversville community with reliable, safe, and long-​lasting vehicles! In addition, we have a full service Finance, Service, and Parts Departments!

Having grown up in the Car Industry watching his father & uncle run United Auto Sales of Utica, while being quick with numbers, & having a savvy business-​mind, Joseph A. Steet knew that what he wanted to do was own his own business one day. For 20 years, Joe looked across the street at the Toyota dealership across the street from his father’s & told himself that one day, he would own it. What he didn’t realize, that what was in store for him was much larger than owning a single Toyota dealership & managing his father’s Pre-​Owned & Wholesale business! Family values, dedication, & a strong drive are what made the Auto Group grow to what it is today. In 1997, Joseph joined forces with Steven M. Ponte to purchase what is now called Steet Toyota Scion of Yorkville, and that was the start of the Auto Group! Today, Steet owns 6 different locations, & 8 brands of top of the line vehicles!
