History

Established in 1990.

Marx Computer Services is a home based small business. It’s been owned and operated by Dan Marx since the beginning. I have a master’s degree in Information Science and opened the business because I’d been serving family, friends and neighbors for years and they encourageded me to go into this business full time. I hire other staff as needed but you’ll always know who to call if you have any problems or questions and that you’ll get the same person each time you need help.

I’ve got over 20 years experience building computers from the ground up. I’ve worked with them since we punched programs in on cards and stored programs on tapes. I’ve been involved with the industry each step of the way. I know how they work, why they break, what things to expect and how to fix them. I also enjoy helping others learn about computers. I have taught computers at the community college level and love answering any question a customer might have.
