Not sure why some of my friends rave about the subs here. The meat is sliced too thick and had a hard time staying in the roll. Thinner sliced meat would make it tasty. Also, ditch the shredded cheddar cheese. Should have driven a little further to Clark’s.

Gyros are terrible! They are small no flavor and horrible. Chili is 6.29 for a quart. It was very runny and watery hardly anything in it and not even filled to the top. The workers were inappropriate joking about crack. We will never eat from here again!

These are the best subs ever! Amazing homemade bread and the meat has always been evenly distributed!

Not sure why others didn’t rate Em’s higher! I grew up on Tony’s subs, but when back in Johnstown recently to visit my aunt in the hospital, my other aunt, who is a Johnstown native, picked up some Em’s subs for us. Love the baked ham, and the bread is mmmm-good! The potato salad was good too, and my aunt raves about the chicken soup(which they were out of that day). Still, I look forward to the day I can get back to Tony’s…

These subs are horrible. Why is the meat all on one side of the sub? The only good thing is the bread, which is homemade and great. I want to go in the back and show them how to build a sub.

There would be NOREASON to get subs from Em’s or Clark’s if Brownie’s Bar was still around. Those subs were legendary… that being said Em’s makes good subs. Just slightly better than Clark’s in my opinion. DON’T EVEN talk about Subway. This is a traditional Johnstown sub, Subway is trash. These subs are super cheap considering their length. I can’t wait for fund-raising season, I’ll take a couple of those Em’s coupons thanks!
