I have only ordered once from Widener’s, but I had a great experience. I cannot speak to any of the issues with ammo because I placed a magazine order. They were the only ones I could find that had the exact mags I wanted at a good price.
The shipping was fast, was sent out in about one or two days, and I received an email with tracking number.
The only advice I can give you is that you need to understand the business they are in, and if you order during a time when everyone wants the same ammo or mags that you want, you will have to wait more than normal to receive these items. This is a small private business, not a huge conglomerate.

Will not be ordering from them again. They can not seem to get one order shipped out of there door on time. How do they even stay in business with such bad service ?? I could have got a package from China by now.

Ordered ammo from Wideners on 14 Feb, got it on 6 Mar (1 day delay for weather). Order to ship time: 18 days; Order to receive time: 21 days. Charged my CC on 18 Feb, so had my money in plenty of time, yet did not ship my ammo for two more weeks. Have offered nothing in the way of compensation. Their order acknowledgement stated ship time in 5 – 10 days, still no excuse. I ordered ammo from

*Prices are OK
*Stock moves real fast
*Packaging can be a problem. Had items packaged poorly and spilled inside box. Shipping and handling charges are enough to cover better shipping material.

Purchased some .22LR ammo online from Widener’s. After the purchase, I had to upload a photo ID for age verification. I believe the site said it would take up to 10 days to process the order. I got a UPS shipping notification within a couple days and I got the ammo within 10 days from the day I made the order. I got what I wanted at a decent price (for these days) and I got it quickly. I have read negative reviews about Widener’s but this experience was positive. Thanks!

* Wolf ammo stock doesn’t hold up long, but usually there’s a good in stock selection of PRVI or IMI ammo.
