Pep Rolls specializes in pepperoni rolls. What are pepperoni rolls you ask? Pepperoni Rolls are a regional food born out of Fairmont, WV. A Pep Roll is our take on that regional food that we were raised on. A Pep Roll is a soft whole wheat bread that is seasoned, rolled up with delicious pepperoni inside and baked to golden perfection.
History
Established in 2013.
We are a small business that just started in September of 2013. Currently we sell dozens and half dozens but also added a food cart as a direct point of sales in December of 2013. Starting January 1, 2014 you will be able to find us at different spots and events in the Charleston, SC area.

Business Owner
Hello, I am Eric. I am half owner of Pep Rolls. I was born in Fairmont, WV just blocks from the original Pepperoni Roll Bakery. I studied Industrial Engineering at West Virginia University and received my Bachelor’s from there. After college, I lived for a year in Germany to experience life in a different culture. I returned home and worked as an engineer at Mylan Pharmaceuticals. Through personal introspection and a lot of planning, Mathias and I moved to Charleston to start a business. Neither of us felt satisfied in our jobs at the time and felt we wanted to take the leap into entrepreneurship.
After racking our brains for business ideas, we decided to try baking pepperoni rolls. We aren’t bakers by trade, but were raised on pepperoni rolls and learned quickly how to bake the delicious treats known in this area as Pep Rolls!
