I live here for 6 months in 2015. The apartments themselves are gorgeous and the area and gated community feel is nice.
my biggest problem was the dog below us which was one of the «restricted breeds» yet was somehow allowed in. that alone didn’t bother me too much but this dog would bark all hours of the night and day (once he barked from 1 am to 2 am straight on a weeknight)
I had multiple neighbors complain and confirm the noise problem and when I mentioned it to management they knew exactly which unit it was. not one thing was ever done about it. when I called the office they put me through to their person who was supposed to handle this and they every time acted like I was the problem and told me I would just have to call the police/​animal control if I wanted anything done.
good place but if you have noisy neighbors don’t expect anything to be done

My apartment is often filled with marijuana smoke from the apartment below me and the sound of heavy base keeps me up at night (130 AM). I feel like I live in a area where this lifestyle is acceptable. I like the apartment amenities and interior design. I like the office staff.
If your a professional that requires rest, look elsewhere. I finally relented and called the after hours number to complain about my issues, which I wouldn’t normally do. The on-​duty courtesy officer is not curtious and has a major attitude and doesn’t resolve issues. My apartment smelled as if I had been smoking weed and that there was a loud party (again) in progress.
This has been so bad that I have considered leaving this state all together following relocation, as a place that you call home should be relaxing and pleasurable.
Very disappointed and accountability is absent when these issues arise.

Poor management. Not flexible in the least. Dog poop everywhere, gates are always broken, no parking, rude employees, and very expensive. The maintenance men are sweet, I’m just afraid of how they may be treated by the other staff. Too much to go into detail, but I would think twice about moving to The Oaks. We love the area and complex itself, but refuse to pay money to be treated with no respect. Needless to say we are leaving at the end of our lease. Disappointed!!!

I have been a resident since Jan 2013. I disagree with the other reviews. In my experience, the Sentinel Management staff is professional and has been great. For an executive at a Fortune 500 company who travels frequently, the Sentinel mgmt. staff has been very responsive and flexible. Sarah, Elaine, and Cherokee (and I know I am forgetting someone… sorry :) …as well as the maintenance staff are friendly and eager to help. As soon as I call with even a small repair (e.g., replacing bulb in fixture over the dining room table, replacing caulking on tub, replacing fire alarm batteries), they have been really responsive!

This place is the worst… too much noise, no parking, BBQ grille never works and very expensive… Do not trust office people with big smile. they are different people if you need them…
