As a retired chef it’s great to find a restaurant where are you enjoy the food the service and the atmosphere. Been there twice will come again. Our waitress was Waleska and her recommendations were great as was her service and personality. We love their blended extra virgin olive oil that we used to dip our bread in, the calamari was tender and not rubbery, our seafood entrees were delicious followed by tiramisu that was very good. Our compliments to the chef, who I hope to meet later, Waleska for the great service and to the owner keep up the great work.

Food was good. The calamari wasn’t fresh, but the buffalo chicken wings were amazing. Delmonico steak was juicy. The service was great. Our waiter did her best to accommodate us. Didn’t have lemon dressing but gave me a lemon half. She was really sweet. Good place to go after rafting.

We have been there four times. I cannot understand the negative reviews. I also think that when people are dissatisfied that they are more likely to leave a review. Whereas people who have a good experience sometimes don’t feel compelled to leave a comment or review. So, if you are considering dining at Dom ‘n Ali’s please give them a try and find out for yourselves that they are accommodating and extremely nice. And the food is pretty damn good. Their prices are also decent. I don’t get the guy who thinks $ 26 for the special is a lot. This is a Steak and Seafood Restaurant; not your corner/neighborhood diner.

Excellent food. Great service. Seafood very fresh. Huge portion size. We were a party of 26…10 adults and 16 kids. They gave us their private room. They were very accommodating and service was very friendly Recommended

8.3÷10.0 Dom N’ Ali’s is a great place to grab a nice sit-down dinner. They have a nice American/Italian menu and the owner is very welcoming; makes you feel right at home. Sitting at the top of the outskirts of Jim Thorpe, and just below Albrightsville, this is a great option to have available in this section of the Poconos. Check it out!

Mamma always said, «if the soup is good then the rest of the meal will be good as well». This place has the best french onion soup I’ve had in a long time. We ordered ribs and chicken pasta, both which were surprisingly tasty. Definitely a great place to check out after visiting historic Jim Thorpe. Good bar area with plenty of TVs and separate dining room for actual conversation. Waiters/waitresses were definitely quick.

Our waitress was very, very nice. The bread was served with some sort of paprika spice mix to drizzle oil on, and it was quite good. From there, the experience took a nosedive. One in our party ordered the Shrimp and Scallop scampi: the scallops were chewy and the scampi sauce just not right(how do you do scampi wrong?). One ordered a pizza with black olives. It came out with kalamata olives. The tomato sauce used on the pizza was awful, ruining the pizza. Another ordered the Country Chicken: it said it came in a garlic wine sauce with cherry peppers. Banana peppers are not cherry peppers. This dish was at best passable, but did not feel well later on. One person ordered the NY Strip and said it was«just ok». To me, it looked patently poor. Admittedly, one person did order the flounder and enjoyed it very much. Additionally, many ordered baked potatoes: they were really not cooked well, seemed quite hard, and stuck to the skin a little too much. Would never go back.

My wife is addicted to this place. We’ve been going to this place for a couple years and couldn’t ask for a better meal. Great chicken wings, french onion soup and chicken cheese steaks. The service is always great and the owner always greets his customers. The menu has everything from bar food to great steaks and lobster.
