Three and a half stars. Friendly service and some quality options, but the whiskey and craft beer pickings were pretty slim. Pricing is comparable to the counties I usually browse in. A few«newer release» items were on the front shelf as you enter, which I don’t think is the most effective way to organize. Maybe I just caught them before restock.

I stop in here often because it’s easy to swing in and out if you’re traveling on Rt 175 to or from Columbia. JP’s is like that guy you almost didn’t go out with because his teeth were a little yellow, but then when you got to know him better, you fell in love, got married and had 4 kids– Point being, it doesn’t look like much, but JP’s is well-stocked with craft beers, specialty liquors AND a tap where you can sample/buy some of the local craft beer offerings. The staff are SUPER-FRIENDLY and always helpful– Stop by when you get a chance, and be pleasantly surprised. :-)

I stopped by here last minute trying to find caramel apple vodka by Pinnacle. They greeted me quickly & asked if I needed any help. They were out of Pinnacle & the guys behind the counter asked what I was making. They told me Van Gogh has a Dutch caramel flavor that would go great. These guys were pleasant, good customer service and I would go back even though it’s not as close to me like other liquor stores

My BF asked me to pick up a 6 pack for him so I just swung into here and thought I would just grab one. This store is awesome. It was so clean, well organized, well lit and with good décor and as soon as I walked in I was greated and asked if I needed help in a friendly manner. Prices were comparable and cheaper than most Columbia locations. I was just blown away by how a hole in the wall type liquor store could impress me this much. I’ll definitely be coming back here and recommend you check it out.

This place is great! they have a huge selection of hard to find whiskeys and craft beers! they also sell boutique vodkas. plus there is a cigar lounge that’s BYOB next door to enjoy my purchase.

One of the only decent liquor stores in the area, price-wise — reasonable beer prices and a friendly staff. If you’re searching for that tough-to-find brew, check out The Perfect Pour a few minutes down the road.
