Worst pharmacy ever. 30+ min wait at drive thru to pick up prescription!?! They don’t even answer their phone. Go anywhere else

One star is to much!!! The phone wait time is ridiculous, 2 hours and a half to call in a prescription? You can’t possibly have that many customers to attend too because I’m sure with the unprofessional staff and awful customer service not many patients go there. I truly called my patient and had her switch to a more friendly, efficient pharmacy.

I come here regularly and have had no problems. Like a previous poster wrote — what do people want out of a pharmacy? It’s good for what it’s there for. In particular, Mr. Roman was very helpful during my visit.

Only real complaint is phone service; if you’re a customer it will take on average 10 minutes to get ahold of a pharmacy rep. to make matters worse the telephone line is very glitchy and ithas disoconnected on me several times. Its not in downtown jersey city so don’t expect too much. But they’re pretty good with receiving and filling electornic orders. 24⁄7 keeps the rating at 3, otherwise this would definitely be a 2 at best.

I don’t what the other reviewers were expecting but this isn’t the Ritz Carlton, it’s a Walgreens. Maybe you’ve never been to one before. If you come late at night(to a Walgreens, Walmart or CVS) they’re not going to have an employee at every register. They have been nice enough to me. Then again, I’m not expecting my ass to be kissed. Anyway, now that I’m done ranting, this place is open 24⁄7 so you can get your drugs and stuff anytime.

Romella Orellana, Pharmacy manager, totally a rude incompetent staff, who act like a wise person who knows when to reject and stop you while you are not even finish, I had a flu I sent my wife with my blue cross card Romella sad card is not valid, when I call my card was fine, Blue Cross called her to verify, I came back again she was still rude but acknowledged the call from blue cross, and cut me short and told me to sit and wait they will verify again, after an hour waiting she told me main medicine is not available today you have to come tomorrow, I asked my prescription and decide to go to CVS while I was leaving I said thank you for eating my time, her rude reply was«you are very welcome» how can she be into a medicine field with no sympathy for sick people plus her arrogance? May god protect others from her mercy, I will never buy or step inside this Walgreen store again.

Zero stars if possible! Customer service was horrendous. Drive 5 more minutes to get what you need, avoid this place by all means. Managers could care less.

If I could give this $h!thole ZERO stars, I would. I’d rather spend my time at the DMV, the Bergren Ave post office, or getting a root canal than to ever go to this Walgreens. Terrible service, atrocious lines, and they always seem to have only one person working at the pharmacy counter.

This is BYFAR one of THEWORST Walgreens I have ever had the misfortune of using. Most of the pharmacy staff is RUDE. They don’t even acknowledge you when you walk up. You wait unacceptable amounts of time. They’ve over charged me more than once and somehow had the wrong insurance info linked to my name. Very unprofessional.

This Walgreens is awful! If it wasn’t for its convenience and 24⁄7 hours, I don’t think anybody would shop there. An upside, if any, is that the staff is generally friendly with one or two exceptions.(Note that I did not compliment their speed) Their products are expensive considering that ATALLTIMES, 24/7, there is a line of 10 – 15 customers deep. Based on their sales volume alone, you would think that their price points would be more reasonable. If I could rate this store at zero stars, I would.

This review is for the availability of this place for last minute emergencies(24⁄7) and the speedy pharmacy! Every time I drop off a prescription here, it’s ready on the same day depending on how busy it gets. Be careful in the parking lot, just use common sense… you’re not inside a luxury shopping mall, it’s the streets of jersey city so protect ya neck. Common sense.

Don’t try reaching them by phone. The only employees who Answer phones work in pharmacy. Unfortunately they blind transfer you to other departments and the calls go unanswered. This place appears to be poorly managed.

This is probably the busiest Walgreens in Jersey City. There are always lines here so do not expect a quick pick up. Also if you do not know exactly what you need and where it is, do not expect to get much help from workers. I seriously only come here if I badly need something. The only benefit of this Walgreens is it’s open 24 hrs a day and is located in a convenient location.

This walgreens looks big from the outside but is really quite tiny with little to nothing inside. I come here on a regular basis to use their red box. BTW Red Box codes means never having to pay for a Red Box DVD, google it. Walgreens is at a super busy intersection and yes it’s not quite the best walgreens around. The lines are always long and the selection small. This store should install some self check out lanes. The parking lot is annoying too because the exit and entrance lanes are so darn tight. Sometimes the parking lot is full and you need to wait 5 minutes or so.

Three ways to get in, three ways to get out. That’s very important to me when it comes to parking some place. This place is really…“hood”…some would say… and by some… I mean people who are not blind. I’m just kidding! I come in here to get granola bites. The line was long one time. The time they ran out of granola bites. So it didn’t affect me because I left. I love me some granola bites.

If I need an emergency drug store item and only if it’s an «there is just no way I can get downtown» emergency.

Good Afternoon fellow Unilocalers. I normally go to a place once and then write a review. But I’ve began to adopt the habit of writing reviews of places that I check into on a regular basis. Walgreens. Walgreens. Walgreens. No matter when I go to this store it’s always a long line. The cashier is swiping items at the speed of someone who knows thier life is not going any where, So the world must endure the same fate. Today I walk to the front to find what seemed to be at least 5 workers taking a long long long long break… RIGHTOUTFRONT… come on. So I grab my item which I actually had to settle for because they didn’t restock the brand of chicken stock I wanted. Now from the time I walked in to the time I walked out, the theft alarm was going off. non stop. and I had to wait 15 minutes for my turn to get cashed by a man who watched me count 2.61 and still hold out his hand as if i shorted him… Never Again.
