A local Jersey City shop with a big belief in encouraging childlike curiosity and playfulness, P & P carries products with a new spin on classic designs and concept. Our curation includes magnetic blocks, wooden robots, solar chargers, pottery, and reusable shopper bags, among many more products.

Established in 2013.

We are a local shop in Jersey City, founded by a local couple who have returned again and again to one simple rule in life: to always dream and make your life your life.

From this philosophy, Pig & Pepper was born out of their love for beauty, language and metaphor as well as the inventor’s logic of design, aesthetics and responsibility.

What a sweet little gem in JC! The store stocks a variety of gift items, costume jewelry, and gently used clothing (more vintage for the grownups and outgrowns for the tots). I think that the variety of prices is really spot-​on, since there is something for pretty much every price range. If they start stocking their I heart JC tote bags in a dark color (that I can’t ruin!), I’m DEFINITELY getting one. It’s a fun place to browse, too… you don’t feel like you are being stared down, even if you don’t purchase anything that day.

Great store, very welcoming with differenty types of gifts for children and adults. Toys focused on learning and the kind you wouldn’t find at a typical toy store. They also sell a limited selection of cool vintage clothing.

Interesting store offering a fine selection of cool wooden toys for tots, Beatles bobble-​heads, home goods, and used secondhand men’s pants. You could say Pig and Pepper has something for everyone. I loved the old school style selection of toys for toddlers and found their prices to be pretty reasonable for these items. Less reasonable was the $ 46 wooden walrus that I NEED, but won’t buy until i figure out what I would do with said $ 46 wooden walrus.

I walked in here with my sister before the holidays to check it out and we both ended up walking out with a great selection of presents… snow hat, gloves, and unique toys for our niece and nephew. The owner was really helpful and friendly and they have a wide variety of merchandise at great prices. I will definitely be back any time I need a gift or a treat for myself!

I love Pig and Pepper! the owners are friendly and helpful and are always up for a good chat with the locals. I appreciate that they genuinely care about the community and jersey city. Their second hand items are at a GREAT price of $ 12.95 (I hope that’s right!) and all of the clothes are beautiful and top notch quality. They have a great loyalty program which will keep me coming back for new items. I am glad they they buy from local artisans and try to keep it eco friendly!
All in all, I love pig and pepper and am glad to see them in the neighborhood !

I. LOVED. THIS. STORE.
First, it’s in my neighborhood and right near Pecoraro’s Italian bakery. Fresh bread, cute clothes… amazing combination!
There was a rack of vintage/​consignment clothing and a rack of new clothing. So much cute stuff at really reasonable prices! Everything had a very comfy yet chic feel to it; the style was right up my alley! And apparently Bald One’s. He bought a *new* Club Monaco shirt for only $ 24! So much cheaper than it would have been in the store, and it fit really, really well.
Quirky, unique toys and gifts for kids and adults. A basket of cozy looking knits for babies and toddlers. I really wanted to buy this adorable toddler sweater for only $ 5 but I refrained.
