David began his building career early on while working at GE as a Northeast Regional Rep covering New England to Philadelphia. He graduated from Farleigh Dickinson University with degree in Electrical Engineering and studies in Construction/​Civil Engineering. David was the project manager for several mutli-​million dollar projects for GE where the customers ranged from Exxon to PSEG. Intrigued by the potential for craftsmanship and artistic value in the construction of a site, David knew he had found his calling. He began to also study architecture and small business studies. Soon after that he started a full service construction company.

Anything, but on time, our construction project was severely delayed throughout the process.
We were left with a gaping hole in the back of our house — with 8 people living there — in the middle of winter — for nearly a month!
Why? Because they are inconsiderate, and also kept ordering the wrong supplies, therefore delaying the completion of the extension they put onto our house.
They made it clear we were not a priority. Would say they would deliver items, make repairs, pick up trash, etc on a specific date and then not show.
It was very inconvenient, stressful, and harrowing to work with him. At the end, many of the renovations needed to be fixed by another set of contractors as they were so poorly done.

I used on time construction for a recent plumbing issue in my apartment. The owner David came out to assess for a quote of work needed. The quote was ready within a few hours. The work spanned a week, the workers were always on time. The finished result for tiling and ceiling work exceeded my expectations! Office manager, Melanie was courteous, professional and available during the process. The cost of the work was reasonable and I would definitely use On Time in the future for home repairs!

This company is not looking to do business can’t even call back for an estimate. I had a leak. They sent someone over with pen and paper only. I never got a quote. I called after a week, and the secretary said they would get back to me, but never did.

David and his crew are as good as they come. We had an excellent experience with OnTime for a kitchen and bathroom renovation. They stayed within our budget without sacrificing quality and we are in love with the work completed. OnTime is experienced in working with Home Depot in Jersey City to coordinate materials which was very helpful to our project. We are already getting quotes on additional work to be done in our home with OnTime as we had such a positive experience working with them. Highly recommended.

Best construction company I have worked with. On Time construction remodeled my whole kitchen and did an amazing job at it. Not only did they work with my budget but the work was done within the timeframe I had. David and Nikol were extremely helpful and answered every single one of my questions.

The work done in my bathroom has transformed it into a new room. David was easy to talk to and the crew who came to my apartment showed upmost respect for my home. We had Ontime Construction come back and do our kitchen! It was a complete demo! They moved a few walls and plumbing. Since they did a great job on our bathroom we decided to have them remodel our kitchen. The kitchen looks great I must say, my family was very impressed with how professional Ontime was from start to finish. The workmanship was great, they cleaned up every day. The schedule was delayed about two weeks because Homedepot delay in delivery but Ontime understood. They did another great job ! I would recommend them because it is hard to find a good contractor.

I started out needing a small job done… just getting my tub replaced. They came, gave me a great price and were done within a couple of days. After that, I’ve called them for several other jobs I needed done. From building my deck from scratch to doing something as small as installing my dishwasher, each person that came was kind, courteous and really knew what he was doing. My deck was my pet project and David, the owner, knew that. He understood what I wanted and would comply, as silly as the request I made would be… he got that this is my home and it was a important to me and my husband that the job not only be done promptly, but right. I have no complaints here and have referred him to several of my friends. It seems like once you’re they’re customer, that is where their loyalty lays. No job is too big or small. I would absolutely recommend them again to anyone needing work done in their home.

I have gone through several contractors to get my kitchen redone. Each and every one of them has either given me outrageous pricing or hasn’t even shown up to give me an estimate… it’s almost as though people don’t want to work. Then I called On Time Construction, and from the get go they were friendly and courteous. David put up with my million questions and emails and never once gave me an attitude. The job he did was beautiful, his crew was courteous and understood my limitations as a homeowner and just worked with me through the whole job. I would recommend On Time to anyone who needs renovations, big or small.

David from OnTime Construction did some renovation and painting work for us. The work quality was bad average at best. There are a few other issues with this contractor:
1. He will sub-​contract 3 or 4 levels deep and if the work is not being done, he says «it’s not my problem» deal with the sub-​sub-​sub-​sub contractor!
2. The statement of work may not be a good indication of what would be eventually done. David is incredibly non-​responsive and his staff is really rude
My personal experience was that my simple 1-​week work (a paint job for the walls of a 2bd/​2bath) was delayed to the point it took them a month to do this despite his initial claims that he’d be done with it in a week! His work ethic is questionable, work quality is poor. Therefore, I won’t’ recommend this contractor at all.
Find a better contractor, save your money and time.

I have been looking to redo my master bath for such a long time because it was outdated and ugly. Thanks to a friend of mine who had her kitchen done, I was finally able to get the bathroom of my dreams. She introduced me to David of Ontime Contruction who was very professional and worked with me on the ideas/​details and the price. now I have a beautiful shower and bath that makes me feel like I’m coming home to a spa. The name speaks for itself, ON TIME CONSTRUCTION! I had my first floor renovated by them and it was absolutely outstanding. I have had my share of bad contractors and was hesitant at first, but when I started explaining to the owner exactly what I wanted, he did JUST THAT! He gets a plus when he kept me informed all throughout the renovation period. I’m glad I chose them!!!

OnTime did a great job on our complete renovation of the kitchen and bathroom. They help us with the design phase also. David was a pleasure to work with. We also visit a few of there jobs before we sign the contract and the workmanship was great and the homeowners was very pleased with OnTime. We meet with a lot of different contractors, some very low on the estimates and some very high but Ontime gave us a fair estimate within the middle of what we thought it would cost to renovate. The workers clean up each day and the office always keep us in loop with the project status. It took a little longer than we planned however there was a few items we added to scope of work and a few things unforeseen we had to fix like leaky pipes and damage sub floor. We had no idea how this experience would be with our 1st renovation but we are glad we use OnTime for our project. The kitchen looks great! My husband is very pleased with the bathroom.
