The food is decent and always ready quickly and the lady working the front is very polite and kind.

Talk about bad Chinese food. I got the lunch special chicken and broccoli with pork fried rice and wonton soup. The«chicken» was chewy and tasteless. I could only taste salt. The chicken was so chewy, it’s not what I expect a chicken to taste like. All the food was salty. The wonton wasn’t good, the soup was extremely salty. The rice was okay. The rice and broccoli were the only food I could eat. Threw the rest out.

The Chinese food here is always fresh and not so greasy, the hot and sour soup is beyond my expectation with a rich taste, I guess it is made with a special broth.

So, this is one of the family«go-to» restaurants; not that it’s fabulous, but decent and affordable. The portions are generous enough for older teen boys, but they don’t order Chinese chicken and cheese fries. I normally beef and broccoli with white rice, and it’s decent; again enough for 2 meals. I ordered a different dish this time, kung pao chicken with peanuts. Again, generous portion, convenient and marginal taste — not spectacular — not bad.

I came here two nights in a row, a function of laziness and desperation. Both times I ordered from the Mexican menu(YummyTortilla). Service: non-existent. No one even made eye contact with me or acknowledged my presence other than to shout my order and take my money. Décor: ‘hood chic. Cracked linoleum and florescent lighting Food: Odd, but mostly inoffensive. The Quesadilla Gigante was indeed huge, with a choice of 2 proteins(I got steak and shrimp). Strangely, like a little kid who doesn’t want the ingredients to touch, each of the 4 wedges were different. 1 had all the tomatoes, 1 had all the lettuce, had all the guacamole, and 1 had ALL of the jalapenos. Luckily I figured it out before biting into that spicy surprise. On my second visit I got the Super Burrito. Again, it was massive but they used a quesadilla-sized tortilla. The edges didn’t even meet. I paid for extra cheese but couldn’t find evidence of any cheese at all. The guac was slightly sour and had that grayish-green oxidized look. I didn’t expect fresh made but this clearly wasn’t stored properly. I picked out the meat and some of the rice and threw the rest away. Final Verdict: No Bueno.

This place is great! During the two years we lived in Jersey City we ate here several times. The Chinese food and Mexican food are great. They have an extensive menu, including many vegetarian dishes. It’s reasonably priced, and pretty quick. The food was always really fresh-tasting, too. The fried rice was never dry, like it is when it sits in a warmer. The veggies were always nice and crisp, and they cook the shrimp perfectly. The service is always friendly, too. We miss this place now that we’ve moved to the West coast.

My friends and I ordered from their counterpart, Yummy Tortillas, tonight. We ordered delivery and after almost 1.5 hours and two phone calls to the restaurant the food finally arrived. Although the food was ok, the people on the phone refused to give us a discount or coupon for being so late. I do not plan to ever order from them again.

I’m only giving this place 1 star because I have to. Unbeknownst to me, this restaurant doubles as a Mexican restaurant as well — yummy tortillas. We ordered food there and it took OVER an hour to arrive. The food mediocre at best. The whole purpose of delivery is to get good food ordered quick and at your convenience and I found this to be the exact opposite in this case. I do not ever plan on ordering or eating from this establishment again.
