Good food(fried chicken, Asian style pasta, dessert, pies). Good service(my 1st time, confused by the menu & the cashier explains it all). The place is clean, they have 2 people walking around cleaning the tables… If you are look for a fast food place, this is the place.

The first time I got hooked with Jollibee was in Singapore 4 years ago. That was also my first experience of non-western fast food chain which blew my mind away. So different and nothing like I’ve ever had before. Fast forward to present time, I came here to try out the American Jollibee just for the heck of it. Slightly not as good as the one I had in Singapore(maybe because Singapore is closer to the mothership in Phillipines?), but good enough to do the trick. I still like the big yum burger and the spaghetti that kinda tastes sweet lol. Halo halo is a must-have dessert in summer months like this :) The service was pretty quick and there are plenty of parking since this Jollibee is located on a strip mall. I’m still a bit traumatized though because some rando creeper knocked on my passanger’s side window for no reason as I was trying to pull out of my parking space.

Was really excited to visit a Jollibee seeing that they haven’t opened one up in Canada yet. Had to get the palabok and of course their chicken! The palabok was pretty good for a fast food restaurant. Very satisfying. It was difficult to choose between that and the spaghetti. The chicken was delicious. Really crispy skin and the meat was actually juicy. The restaurant was bright and clean and a big statue of the bee welcomed you outside the door. Can’t wait until they open up a location in Toronto! P. S. Filipino food is bomb diggity!

Excellence. Perfection. Heaven. These are all words that we associate with the sublime. I thought(wrongly of course) that I had understood the world — that I got life; and then, one magical day in May of 2016, I realized that I had been wrong. I knew and know nothing. I had not experienced the Jollibee of Jersey City, New Jersey. The fact that I was ignorant to the existence of this pleasure palace is a sign. There are good and even great places in the world to go. My associate and I had just finished a bevy of Miller Lites and poor bowling. We were hungry. We needed to fix things. We found the Jollibee of Jersey City, New Jersey. I will not bore you with details of the meal, but a few brief words: The Jollibee of Jersey City, New Jersey is clean. The staff is astute and courteous. The fried chicken is randy making. The Halo Halo is remarkable. And the french fries are life changing. To be brief, it was the greatest meal of my life. I shall bring my companion next time and show my love through a proper Jollibee servicing.

I grew up off this, and crazy to say this is my first time at the jersey location, located in a shopping plaza on danforth ave ! Lol… menu is kind of weirded me out, the most chicken for a chickenjoy bucket is 6 pieces! I repeat six! .Got to be kidding me lol… luckily I missed the taste of their chicken that I paid $ 43.29 for 18 pieces(3 buckets) and a family portion spaghetti that’s really portioned for one person Ctfu! …only because it’s my countries version of kfc I paid the cost to be a boss… five stars because the chicken and gravy is on point, the service was a breeze, and food was served pretty quick… in and out the way I like it for fast food!

The famous Jollibee, I live near here and when this place opened, there were lines around the block and massive traffic. Fast forward a few years, still long lines! Surprisingly on Mother’s Day, it was pretty empty around 8:45ish. Got 2 buckets of ChickenJoy(6 pieces a bucket) and fries. I definitely felt a little played, one of the buckets was missing a piece of chicken, but I’ll let it slide. Onto the food, the chicken was super delicious, crispy and mouth watering. Last time I ate here, maybe 6 – 8 months ago, the chicken was so salty I couldn’t even eat it, but this time, it was perfect. Fries were just fries, cant mess that up really. Definitely will be coming back with my next chicken craving.

Excellent Filipino fast food. 1) The chicken joy is fantastic. 2) The spaghetti is good, they put hot dogs in it. 3) I am not a big fan of the Aloha burger. 4) The best thing in the menu is the peach mango pie and the taro drink.

Everyone is just consistently so nice and you see smiles everywhere. People who dine here are obviously regulars. Service is superb. Booths and tables are clean. People behind the counter are very very very pleasant. Servings are more than adequate. Overall, a great dining experience every single time. PS Halo-halo is my staple Filipino quick fix when I’m feeling homesick. And summer is just around the corner and this is definitely a must-try! I tell all my American friends to go visit jollibee. I wish I could 8 – 7000 jollibee delivery here as well! Too bad there aren’t enough branches to curb my late night cravings.

It’s always good to enjoy some straight-up Filipino fastfood. It was my first time at this location, and for the most part it was a fairly good time. Food came out quick and hot, but for some reason it just didn’t taste as great as it is in the Philippines. My cousin got Palabok and said it was just alright. The topping(chicharron bits) got way too soggy when mixed and didn’t taste right. I got the Burger steak with rice. Aw man, that brought me back to the days in the Philippines. That was pretty good. I also got Jolly Spaghetti and it was okay. It was a little too salty for my taste(Filipino spaghetti tends to be sweeter), but wasn’t entirely bad either. My fiancé got the 3pc Chicken Joy and fries. He loved it, and I loved it. That would be something worth coming back for. What threw me off was that they«ran out» of all the cold desserts and drinks. No pearl shakes. No halo-halo. No sundae. Nothing. The woman told me that they ran out of all of it by 9:30pm on a Saturday. It could have been true, but I think they just cleaned all their machines a bit early. All in all, you’re better off saving the Jollibee craze for the Philippines. Way better taste of food and nicer staff.

I was okay with the food. Don’t know what the big deal is with this place. Not to say it is a bad place. Just average at best for food. I think because of the name, they upcharge the prices. The chicken is crispy but nothing out of this world. The burgers remind me of elementary school burgers. I have to admit, the peach mango pie is amazing. That item on the menu is the only stand out in my opinion. Again, not to down play this place. I would rather have local Filipino food at local restaurants.

Nothing compares to the one in the Philippines. Everything there is better and everything here just tastes off. The gravy for their burger steak is off and the chicken doesn’t taste the same. While they’re still good, they could do so much better if they can actually get the flavors right. But I can understand since they might not have the same ingredients considering they might be buying their stuff from Asian stores here or whatever. The line is long and it’s always packed which makes it hard to scout for tables and chairs. The staff is friendly though I’ll give them that. The place just doesn’t look so clean but it’s okay.

Ah, Jollibee – the quintessential Filipino fast food joint. I’ve been to a number of their branches: A handful in the Philippines and three back home in California – in San Jose, West Covina, and National City. Any comparison I make is with these branches. Aloha Burger: If you like pineapple in a burger, this is for you. I was never a fan of this, but I was hoping it would taste best at this branch. The burger was made well, but the slice of pineapple in the burger is almost nonexistent; it was way too small. As for the patty, it’s nothing special and overpowered by the sweet sauce. Chicken Joy Bucket: It only comes with six pieces, which is a bit of a bummer, but I do like the chicken here compared to some local places. The skin is crispy, while the juicy meat is cooked thoroughly. Jollibee is known for their gravy and, as many have already stated, it tastes great. Among everything ordered, the chicken tastes closest to the chicken joy at the Philippine branches. Pancit Palabok w/1pc Chicken Joy: Two words: It sucks. I’ve eaten palabok at other branches and this one is my least favorite. It looks and smells like palabok, but doesn’t really taste like it. The noodles were way too soft(borderline mushy), while the sauce was underwhelming and disappointing. Unlike others, I did not find the sauce salty – just flavorless. There was plenty of pork, shrimp, and chicharron crumbs, though; I’ll give them that. Overall, the chicken joy with gravy is really the main thing I’d come back for. The ube pearl coolers are always a treat to order, but I was disappointed at the uneven cooking of the boba.

I just had the hotdog here just to try something light and in all honesty it was nasty. It had shredded cheese, ketchup and some other sauce that looks like mayonnaise… It might have been mayonnaise, not so sure. I know I haven’t actually had their popular food options but after that I lost my appetite to try anything else there. Maybe next, maybe.

This place is just repulsive. Unfortunately, it remains prevalent at parties and reunions with out-of-towners celebrating its arrival in the States by ordering boxes of take-out. Seems like the novelty around this place is rooted in cultural bias or nostalgia from that giant bee statue. I’d say it’s even more grotesque than the Jollibees in the Philippines which is quite the feat. The chicken is slimy, the spaghetti is grossly inundated with sugar, the bubble tea had that obvious taste of unmixed powder. I’m very aware that this is a fast food restaurant, but you’d be better served to buy the above elsewhere within a few square miles. As for Filipino food, the palabok is overrated. At least keep the chicharon crunchy, please. Its saving grace may be the halo halo but it’s hard to sabotage something whose main ingredients are condensed milk and ice. If you don’t know anyone who can cook traditional Filipino cuisine, you’re better off going to a small restaurant along Westside Ave.

The Filipino version of McDonald, instead you got a happy bee as the mascot. The fried chicken is truly greasy and bland. Their burger with thick gravy and mushrooms is tasteless and not worth the price gor such small and flat burgers. The only edible and noteworthy food is the spaghetti with hotdogs/beef — it taste just like the way my nanay would make it, but it’s just a little sweet at times. Everything comes with rice, what’d you think. But you can substitute rice with fries… Carbo loader on top of carbs. They have an u be and panda slushy with tapioca, it’s good. Halo halo is great n colorful, must get. Bring your kid and take a pic with the bee outside… use it as one of your pic for the Christmas card… lol.

I’ve heard of Jollibee from my Filipino friends but had no idea there was one in the area. When I stumbled upon it, I had to try. It feels a bit like if a KFC met a McDonald’s. The space is large and brightly lit, and very clean. I ended up with 2 pcs chicken and mashed potatoes. This is gonna sound weird but the chicken was almost too juicy. Like, almost soggy or slimy on the inside, falling off the bone. But somehow the skin was not greasy or soggy at all, well seasoned with a nice crunch. It was delicious but caused some cognitive dissonance as I tried to wrap my head around the competing textures. Nice to try once, I’m sure my doctor is glad I won’t be a regular.

Nostalgia is always closely related to a restaurant like this here. If you are a filipino or dining with one, you’ll expect them to mention quotes along the lines of, «when I was little…» they’ll tell you their favorite item here. Which desert pie is better than the other or why the Amazing Aloha is better than smoking crack. Anyways, filipinos come here because it’s instilled in their nature to seek out a Jollibee and have themselves a two piece chicken joy with double rice and pig out. If you’re «American», don’t freak out when you see them dip the chicken in the gravy. This is how we eat this, trust me, it’s good stuff, I suggest you follow suit. This location is a bit off from the Centre of the filipino town in Jersey City, but since there’s a gazillion filipinos in tri-state area, it truly does not matter at all. It’s clean, it’s accessible, there’s easy parking which is awesome and the employees are always on their A game. I’m just glad we don’t have to travel deep into queens to find that small jollibee there. That branch is good as well, it’s just great to have something a little closer to home with easy parking. #lifeisawesome

I’ve been to this Jollibee location several times, and I’ve generally been happy with my experience each time! They’re friendly, efficient, and have delicious food. I usually order the fried chicken with white rice. It’s hot and crispy every time! It’s not overly salty or oily. It’s spot on in taste and quality albeit pricier than other places like KFC or Popeye’s. I also like the spaghetti but it’s definitely not Italian or Italian-American spaghetti. It’s sweet and tangy and definitely geared towards a Filipino palate. You either love it or hate it. The fiesta noodles is a fast food take on palabok — rice noodles covered in pork chicharon, shrimp, sautéed pork and hard boiled egg slices. Similarly, you love it or hate it. I like more complexity in my palabok so I don’t order this often. For dessert, the pies here are stellar! My fave is the peach mango. They used to have a banana Langka that was pretty good too. Hopefully, it comes back soon. The halo-halo is pretty good too — shaved ice with condensed milk, beans, kaong(Palm sugar), a slice of leche flan, and a scoop of mango and/or ube ice cream. However, I think you can get a bit more value for your money at other Filipino restaurants. The boba drinks(pandan and ube) are too sweet in my opinion so I don’t order them usually. For breakfast, I like pretty much everything but it all seems a bit pricey for what you get. Also, I like an egg that’s a bit undercooked and they pretty much cook it through. The restaurant is clean and the staff is friendly. Since most of them are Filipino and many customers are Filipino too, you’ll hear Tagalog spoken but everyone there speaks English so you won’t have any problems ordering. They have a soda fountain, but they also have free cups if you just want water. The parking lot can be tight since the lot is shared with Rite Aid and the other surrounding businesses but Jollibee is not quite as busy as it used to be from my experience. Best to go during weekdays but weekends shouldn’t be too bad. If you’re not sure, you can order ahead of time and pick up your food too.
