At Downtown Medical Spa our clients are given the highest quality medical care available within a spa environment, all overseen by Dr. Eric Reynolds DPM, a board certified physician and surgeon in both New York and New Jersey with over 10 years practical experience. Also, Dr. Reynolds is the Medical Director at the Wound Care Center of Healing and Science at Columbus Hospital in Newark, NJ. He is an active member in the Jersey City community, where he lives with his family within walking distance from our state of the art facility.

I wanted to rave about my recent vacation to Punta Cana. Not because of the beautiful weather but because I was able to go the entire week without shaving my legs! I normally shave my legs daily (I could actually do it twice if it’s really cold!) so to not even have to pack a razor on vacation was an amazing feeling!

I got a package of face tightening sessions with the Viora. Marietta is AMAZING! I loved every moment of my sessions. The results were stunning! It’s been a couple of months since I finished my package and everyday I look in the mirror and I’m shocked at the results. Marietta really worked with me to get the results I wanted. I feel so lucky and happy! The office is clean and comfortable and the staff is welcoming. Marietta is so knowledgable with using the machine. The price for the packaging is really great too because it’s 10 times the amount in Manhattan! I am really comfortable with Downtown Medspa and plan to be a client for life!

I’ve been going there since March for laser hair removal and this place is FANTASTIC! Super clean, decent prices, a doctor on site and competent, efficient and friendly staff that won’t b.s. you on what they can and cannot do. I love going here.
08÷05÷14 Still feel the same way about this place, but their prices have literally doubled since I started going in March. I’ll be shopping specials in the city for additional services I wanted like spider vein removal.

I recently went to Downtown Medspa for laser hair removal under my underarms. The office is clean, and the staff is very friendly. I never have had to wait for my appointment, and they go pretty fast. I’m usually in and out within 20 minutes. So far I have had 3 sessions, and the change is dramatic. I went from shaving my underarms daily, to once a week. I am eager to see how it looks when I am done with the 6th session. It is nearly painless, and nothing compared to waxing. Once I complete my underarms I will definitely be moving on to other areas. And, did I mention the pricing is amazing! I hesitated for probably a year playing around with the idea of getting the laser hair removal done, and I am glad I finally did. I highly recommend it to everyone, and would absolutely recommend Downtown Medspa!

Love, love, love this place! The staff is so friendly and the location is great, 2blks from the Grove Street Path station. It’s not a super fancy or pretentious spa (fine by me!), but very bright & clean and a nice family business too. The head doctor is board certified in NJ and NY, and his wife is the lead technician, both highly trained and professional. They are both really nice people and their staff are really nice too (adore Daniela! She’s amazing!) Got my lower legs done here in 4 sessions and no pain whatsoever. Great deal too, their rates are VERY reasonable. Just decided to go for it so I’m ready for next summer. I’m asking my husband for more sessions for other areas as a Christmas present (lol). Like another reviewer said, they have an amazing machine. I always wanted to do laser treatment but heard it was painful, but not so in this case. You do have to follow protocol and use sunscreen on the area for a bit afterward, and they ask you to fill out a comprehensive survey to make sure you know all about what to do before and after (i.e. no lotion before treatment, etc.).
Highly recommend, nice people, great service at an amazing price.

Amazing service, and I researched their machine which is considered to be the «rolls royce» of lasers, which made me feel very safe. I have been petrified of lasers since my skin is so sensitive, so knowing that they have the best equipment, plus the warm and friendly staff who take time to answer all of my questions, put me at ease.
The atmosphere is great, the staff very professional, and and procedure is as good as it gets. The icing on the cake are the great rates that they have which I’m guessing will not last and is only running now that it’s new. Even if it were 5x the price I would highly recommend Downtown Medspa.
