I love claire’s but this specific one has the worst staff ever.
The older short woman told me to call her ma’am and give her respect. I am sorry your like 60 still working in claire’s!!! and I can’t call you honey to ask you a question… no wonder everyone hates it there. I am over it.

My story: I went there I was trying on some glasses I was going to buy them for my geek costume the manager said doing touch if not going to buy. Really what is the point of having a mirror. Then I place one of my items on the counter because I was about to pay t get one step and got a lip gloss on the counter guess what? Sorry mam you cannot buy these items.

So my journey starts at Newport Centre Mall which I personally don’t like much I’ve always thought of it as a rather ghetto mall. Anyways, recently they’ve renovated and alot of the stores have changed but only in appearance as I found out when I went in to the Claire’s store with my sister.
Usually customers tell their side of the story as being the victims and are usually lying and were in actuality very rude to the employee but in this case my sister and I were totally the victims.
We went in to this store and all we got was attitude up the ass my sister asked one the girls if they sold pouches and she replied «whatever is there if not go to CVS» who says that?
As for me i read a sign that said buy one get one 50% of f on cosmetics so i got to the register to pay for my nail polish which is clearly a cosmetics item {it says cosmetics right on the bottle } and the lady tells me that this item is not part of cosmetics and I can’t have the sale HELLO it says cosmetics it’s nail polish DUH!!! So i reply are you sure and she goes «yea do you want it or not» but she said it all nasty like bitch ur wasting my time.
In conclusion I hate those dumb employee chicks at Claire’s in newport «You Suck» therefore I hate that store and would never go in again FYI i will be buying all my nail polishes at CVS.
