Canine Unwind

Nick has been a god send for our family and our dog. Nick has always gone out of his way to accommodate our schedules and communicates well via text or email. He takes our dog on long walks and mixes in pack time and play time. I know our dog loves the exercise and socializing with other dogs.
Nick really loves the dogs that he works with and it shows through. He writes a daily report card on how our pup did that day, sends cute photos of the dogs playing, changes out the water, and replaces the pup pee pads before he leaves. Nick is the best dog walker in Jersey City and I hope to have him in our pups life for years to come.

I met Nick 4 years ago in the dog run before Canine Unwind and it was obvious that he had a special touch with pups and a patience that is uncanny. It seemed the perfect match to have someone so genuinely nice and caring be a caretaker for others’ furry companions. He’s always upfront and honest about his practices and makes sure that you feel comfortable with what he does and how he runs Canine Unwind. I couldn’t be happier for my dog to be able to spend a good chunk of his day with a leader and a pack that is so cohesive and friendly. I would recommend him to everyone that I could and often do so to the other dog lovers in my building. Jackson is always in better spirits after a CU day and is a better and happier dog for it. I’ve tried many dogwalkers and sitters and can say confidently that there is no one more friendly, flexible and highly regarded in the community.

Ever since our 3 year old rescue was a puppy, Nick has been our go-​to dog care provider. His great rapore with all things furry makes his outings the highlight of our dog’s day, and his dedication, flexibility and downright niceness has endeared him to our family. Two thumbs up!

We met Nick in the dog run when we first got our dog and it’s been 2 years now that we have been working with him. In deciding to work with him, I was impressed with his process in «on-​boarding» our dog which included a meet and greet, solo walk and questionnaire.
We appreciate everything from his flexibility and gentle nature, to his openness in keeping up with our training goals when they are together. I know our dog is being well taken care of. He has worked hard to build a cohesive pack and loves being with them.
In having a stronger breed, I am thankful for him everyday and am blessed to have him as part of our little eco-​system. We couldn’t do it without him.

Nick really loves the dogs he walks, and he is always going the extra mile with them. My dog, Bailey, loves Nick and the group that he gets to hang out with. I trust Nick to take the best care of my mini-​poo, and he even plays with my cat when he drops him off. He’s an overall great guy, who is wonderful with my pets. Definitely would recommend!
