Beautiful place.
The room we had was #4. Lovely and comfortable.
Small tv, but we didn’t care because we weren’t in Vermont to watch tv. Haha.
Breakfast was delicious.
Tom and Dan are so friendly and sweet.
If I’m ever in Vermont again, I would definitely stay here.

I little off the beaten path but exactly what you imagine a New England B&B would be. Great breakfast and good restaurants nearby for dinner or brews. Recommend Jericho café and grill.

just spent three wonderful nights at the Sinclair with a group. Cannot say enough about the inn, the service and the food! Truly the best B & B I’ve ever stayed in. Warm, welcoming, beautiful gardens, and amazing food –both breakfast and late night snacks! Tom and Dan are perfect hosts!

I stayed at the Sinclair in with my husband and 2 kids, ages 11 and 13 in July 2015.
The home is absolutely beautiful, so much charm, so well maintained. Unfortunately, we were only able to stay for 1 night. I would have loved to spend more time lounging in the beautifully decorated living room spaces and the nice patio out back surrounded by their beautiful grounds.
When we arrived there were cookies and brownies in the dining area. Upstairs there was a kitchen with a fully stocked refrigerator. We had room 6 at the end of the hall. The room was quiet. The beds were comfortable. The bathroom fully stocked. The air conditioner kept the room at a perfect temperature. When we came back from dinner there were local chocolates on our bed after turn down. So much attention to detail!
Prior to our trip I had emailed the inn for restaurant and activity suggestions and received a prompt response with wonderful recommendations.
Dan is the breakfast chef, and a wonderful chef he is. For breakfast we started off with some fresh fruit with cream, juice and coffee. Then onto the amazing French toast with almonds and bacon. They even packed up a doggie bag for us to take on the road. Tom goes between the kitchen and dining area. He took time out to chat with us, I only wish we had more time to chat! They have an adorable dog, Riley, who stays out of the common areas of the inn, but they invited my daughter into the kitchen to play with him. She loved Riley! The inn and innkeepers were so warm and genuine. I really felt like I was staying at a friend’s home, We found out that Dan & Tom lived in the same city where my husband grew up and that Dan’s sister lives in the same city as we do now. What a small world! I would highly recommend this inn to anyone and hope that we can make our way back to the east coast to visit Tom & Dan at the Sinclair inn!

Great place! I had asked for little things to make the trip special, like a hand written note, champagne glasses and a late arrival; all of which were taken care of. Also, the breakfasts are very good. Usually 2 or 3 courses.

We were looking for a weekend getaway in the mountains and found this place that luckily had one room still available. Tom and Dan are wonderful hosts who accommodated our needs in many ways. For example, we arrived late on the first night — almost after midnight after the fireworks at Burlington, Dan assured us that the room would be available. The breakfast was also amazing. They paid attention to the details and provided us with all that we asked for, no eggs, vegetarian food, etc. Like all other reviews mentioned, the room was so beautiful and cozy. There is a small box in the bathroom that included things one could easily forget. Coffee and bottled water on our floor. Very considerate.
We hope to come back again soon.

This B&B was fabulous. The grounds are beautiful, only 15 minutes from Burlington, and it was very convenient to many areas in northern VT. The breakfasts are amazing and the owners very friendly and accommodating. The inn was immaculate. I can’t wait to go back!

We loved our stay! The owners, Tom and Dan were welcoming and extremely accommodating. We ended up arriving earlier than planned and wanted to freshen up before heading into Burlington for the night. We called, as we were before their check-​in time and Dan answered assuring us it was fine to come early! Upon arrival we felt immediately comfortable as if we were at home or staying with a friend. The house is absolutely beautiful! We were shown around, and pleased with their attention to detail… Including a mini fridge on the bedroom floor stocked with an assortment of drinks, a keurig with coffee and tea to select from, as well as wine glasses with a wine opener! Such a great idea!
We stayed in room 3 in the front of the house and it was perfect for us. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. They even left a piece of locally crafted chocolate at night when they turned down the bed. The only thing we felt was the room was extremely hot for us. We prefer it slightly colder, but we still managed to sleep great!
In going over details when we had arrived, Dan had mentioned breakfast would be at 9 am the next day. We unfortunately had made spa appointments that happened be at 9 am too. Dan was quick to accommodate to ensure we got breakfast. We felt terrible, but boy were we happy… Breakfast was delicious! We met Tom the next morning, who was such a delight despite the early hour! He served as a liaison between the kitchen and our table, and he did a great job. We enjoyed hearing his stories as he went back and forth between the kitchen. They serve breakfast as a plated meal, and we received wonderful orange walnut bread, yogurt berry and granola (homemade) parfait, and baked eggs in a ham «basket» with tomato mozzarella and pesto with a potato rosti. The meal was hot, and hit the spot!
Before leaving Dan even gave us slices of his homemade apple pie to take for the road! Overall we loved this place, and will definitely be back.

My boyfriend and I just spent three glorious days at this charming Vermont Inn, and I can’t say enough good things about our experience. The new owners (new by about 2 months) Tom and Dan are absolutely terrific hosts, and took care of us from the minute we stepped on the premises to the moment we left! They provided us with a coupon for discounted ticket prices at the Shelburne museum, and were always willing to make suggestions/​reservations for dinner/​things to do in the area.
The breakfasts here are heavenly (Dan is an amazing chef!), and set you up for a good day of exploring all that beautiful northern Vermont has to offer! Our three morning breakfasts started with blueberry pancake poppers, eggs benedict with potatoes, and a hearty frittata filled with veggies, thick ham, and succulent cheeses… and these dishes all came AFTER a fresh fruit plate and warmed biscuits which were also served! An abundance of juice, coffee and tea is served throughout breakfast as well! No fear of going hungry here!
We stayed in Room 4 at the Inn, however upon arrival we had the option to move to one of the larger rooms due to lack of occupancy on the weekend we were there. While all of the rooms in the Inn are charming, we decided to stay with our original choice being the cozy pale green room, complete with a spacious and well lit bathroom and authentic stained glass window! The windows have black out curtains in addition to regular draw string shades, which helped in the morning! The Inn is somewhat close to the road, and with our room being in the front of the house I could hear some traffic falling asleep. It wasn’t an issue for me, but should be kept in mind for any light sleepers out there! The bed is super comfortable and we both woke up each morning feeling revitalized and ready to tackle the day.
The attention to detail throughout the entire Inn is unbelievable! The downstairs living room (s) are cozy, comfortable, and well furnished, and I found myself feeling as though I was staying at a friends house rather than paying for a room at a B&B. Every night there were delectable savory desserts made by master chef/​baker Dan, to which my boyfriends sweet tooth greatly appreciated. Pumpkin spice cookies, brownies, oatmeal cookies, and pumpkin pie were on the menu, and we sampled some of each (all of them amazing!). We were even encouraged to take a doggie bag with us in the morning to keep us going throughout the day (we didn’t need much convincing…). In addition to the baked goods, individualized mint chocolate squares were placed on our pillows EVERY single night, which gave the Inn a high-​class feel I wasn’t expecting. The rooms were always impeccably clean and fresh, and our lights were turned on in the evening when we would be returning late from our daily adventures, adding to the cozy vibe. It truly felt like a home away from home, and we are so happy to have found such a remarkable place to spend some time in!
Despite the less than stellar weather conditions during our stay, our visit overall was terrific, and was only made possible by the wonderful hosts Dan and Tom and their beautiful Inn. It is only a short drive from downtown Burlington (20ish minutes), and was the perfect mini-​vacation spot to recharge before the crazed holiday months begins! We will most certainly stay here again should we ever find ourselves in Jericho Vermont, and you should stay here too! You will not be disappointed.

We visited last weekend and met the new owners, Tom and Dan (and their dog, Riley). We wish we could have stayed longer, but the time we did spend was great! Both Tom and Dan are great to talk to, and they cooked a delicious breakfast.
The garden is beautiful and there are several patios and decks to lounge on. It was wonderful taking walks in the morning and exploring the small town. It’s also pretty close to Burlington, but far enough away to encourage you to visit some of the other places Vermont has to offer.
We will definitely be back as soon as possible!

A lovely inn. Extremely nicely decorated, stocked with information, and a phenomenal breakfast.
The room we were in was fantastic for our purposes as we were traveling with our 6 year old. He had his own small bed and we had ours.
The innkeepers are service, service, service and just plain nice. They took us on short notice and only had room for 2 of the 3 days we needed after our Montréal location went bust on us. The actually called and helped us find a place for our last day. The also helped us find hiking, restaurants, and let our boy try to catching frogs out of their pond. Wonderful inn… wonderful keepers.
The only drawback, which is really not much… is that it is right on the main road, but honestly, it is not at all bad.

My husband and I recently stayed at the Sinclair Inn for a few days in May. Don and Nimmie, the owners, were delightful. I didn’t want to leave! They made us feel immediately at home and comfortable. (In fact, even before we arrived, Nimmie emailed me to let us know that a larger room, at the same price, was available.) There was homemade banana cake in the dining room, free drinks in the mini-​fridge, and wonderful breakfast each morning. Don and Nimmie even made my husband and me tofu-​bacon, since we are vegetarians. The house itself is gorgeous– yet also warm and homey. Don was incredibly helpful in giving us advice and directions to places to visit and restaurants. Then there is the added bonus of their little Westie, McDuff and Bella the cat. They are adorable. My husband and I loved staying there and cannot wait to go back.

This is a lovely place. Don and Nimmie are wonder hosts and Nimmie prepares the most delightful breakfasts. Perfect setting, many nearby trails. You won’t regret it!

We stayed at the Sinclair Inn for three nights this past June, Friday into Monday, and we loved every minute of our time there. The house and room were beautiful, clean and comfortable, the food was delicious and Don and Nimmie were wonderful hosts.
Don was waiting for us when we arrived and we were greeted warmly and shown around the house and grounds right away, which made us feel very comfortable from the start. Throughout our stay Don and Nimmie were always ready with suggestions for restaurants and activities, provided us with maps and made our dinner reservations for us. Breakfasts were delicious, creative and different each morning, including a course with fresh, seasonal fruit. (It was strawberry and blueberry season when we were there)
Our room was spotless and spacious (Room 5) and the queen bed was very comfortable. Even the water pressure in the shower was perfect. The self-​serve coffee in the morning was perfect too. We enjoyed sitting and reading quietly in the main living room (great magazines to choose from), sitting out in the gardens, and we especially loved bringing our wine and cheese out onto the small and more private back deck.
We’ve only stayed at one other B&B and we didn’t have a great experience there, so we were cautious about doing it again. But the Sinclair Inn has turned us around. Don and Nimmie were warm and gracious hosts but never overbearing or imposing. It always seemed as if one or both of them magically appeared if we needed anything at all. They really went the extra mile for us with absolutely everything.
On top of the great service and hospitality, the Sinclair Inn is perfectly located just a short drive from Burlington, but close enough to some great local eateries and activities such as canoeing and kayaking and wineries, as well as being very close to Mount Mansfield for great hiking and climbing. We’ll be back to the Sinclair Inn for sure, hopefully this fall.

Cosy, quaint B&B with friendly caretakers and clean and comfortable accommodations. Soft mattress, tasty breakfasts (vegan/​vegetarian friendly), and complimentary sodas/​bottled water. I also enjoyed drinking tea and reading my book in the charming common areas when the snowy weather kept us inside. All told a classic, but updated Vermont experience.
