Description

Specialties

Jewish ritual infant male circumcision, non-ritual infant male circumcision, baby naming ceremonies for girls, musically and religiously accompanying and officiating at all other life-cycle moments.

While I am located just outside of Philly, I service locations as far away as Manhattan and it’s suburbs, Wilmington, Delaware, and Scranton, PA. Policy of Yelp is that one can only service an area with no more than 100 miles distance between any two cities. Dependent on availability and subject to the need to slightly adjust the time as the date approaches, I will drive or use other forms of transportation far further than that.

History

Established in 1991.

It is my sincere desire that you and your family are able to focus on the joy, the simchah of this tremendous mitzvah (commandment).

I became a Moyel in November of 1990 after extensive training at the Jacobi Medical Center/Albert Einstein College of Medicine. My primary instructor, Dr. Jacob Shragowitz is a highly respected physician who is also a moyel with a significant family lineage of rabbis and moyels.

Having already matriculated as a Conservative Hazzan (Cantor), I enrolled and received certification as a Conservative moyel through the Brit Kodesh program at the Jewish Theological Seminary of America in New York.

In over twenty years serving in this holy capacity, I have been privileged to attend ceremonies arriving by foot, car, taxi, bus, train and even by plane to accommodate the needs of families. Can I help you?
