I’ve been commercially painting for years. In 2008 when the housing market slowed down so did the painting business.

Shelly’s dressers started out when a friend heard I was looking for a tall dresser for our cottage. A friend found one by the side of the road and dropped it off for us. It was really ugly & outdated. I cleaned it up, painted it black and put new hardware on it. When it was all said and done I discovered it was just too tall for the spot I had in mind for it. I put it on Craigslist and had 7 people fighting over it. Since 2008 I have moved from painting in my garage to a new 2 story studio located on Chicago Dr. in Jenison.
