Legacy Funeral Center is a new venture based upon tradition started in 2011 by the Scott Family of Jeffersonville, Indiana. With over 80 years of experience and 4 generations serving our community, we have been on the forefront of changes in our profession.

Our Funeral Center is the most newly remodeled, clean and comfortable funeral home in the area that is tastefully decorated and spacious enough for any family.

New generations bring new perspectives, and Legacy Funeral Center will usher in a much needed alternative in funeral services. Our options include traditional funeral services, cremation services, and customizable plans to meet your wishes. We specialize in pre-​arranged funerals so families can plan ahead of time and take the burden off their family of making difficult decisions.

History

Established in 1930.

Scott Funeral Home of Jeffersonville, IN was founded by William M. (1899 – 1976) & Lois B. Scott (1901 – 1992) in 1930. Their son, William B. Scott, continued as a funeral director, followed by grandson, William M. Scott, and great-​grandsons, William W. Scott and Aaron M. Scott.

In 2011 the Scott Family saw a need for a funeral home in the community that will provide every family a professional and compassionate service and will fulfill their loved ones wishes at an affordable price. Legacy Funeral Center is owned and operated by the Scott Family and will continue to be in the community for years to come.
