History

Established in 1958.

Tri-​County Lumber was started in 1958 in Jefferson, IA. For years, Tri-​County Lumber was mostly focused on the contractor. Supplying blue-​prints and materials for new construction and remodel projects. Since then, we have grown into a full retail store selling everything from electrical and plumbing to paint, flooring and cabinets. We also provide design expertise and have the ability to take any project from start to finish.

Meet the Business Owner

Mark B.

Business Owner

Originally from Carroll, Iowa, Mark has been in the building materials industry for over 30 years. He started his journey working in the paint department of Payless Cashways back in the late 1970s and now is majority owner and President of Tri-​County Lumber. Mark lives with his wife in Jefferson and has three grown children and seven grandchildren. Since buying into the company in February, 1995, Mark has made an effort to provide the Jefferson area with competitive pricing and a large array of products and services.
