Pets R Our World

I just have to brag on pets r our world they really are the best vet around the New Orleans area. I’ve been to so many and this one never seems to let me down. The prices are amazing! The people actually care! And they don’t put the dollar over the dog! I seriously love this vet and recommend it highly! I tell everyone who asks about a vet!

This is a very reasonably priced, caring vet practice! A few years ago when they were operating out of the mobile vet clinic, I brought stray cats to get neutered since they are one of the few vets that participate in the Jefferson Parish resident Fix-​A-​Feline free/​discount program. Their service was always friendly and accommodating. I now bring my pet cat to them for yearly shots, and the prices are very reasonable and the service is top notch. This vet really cares about animals (not about making bank like a few other vets out there). Highly recommended.

Loved Dr. Jessica, she had a sincere care for my baby Sparta whom had a ear infection and tested posted with hook worm eggs. She reassured and consoled me when I cried for my pup. Her assistant was very helpful as well. I take all 3 of my pups there for their annuals and shots. Very reasonably priced, especially having 3 fur babies, it adds up. I highly recommend taking your fur babies here!

I never write reviews but I had such a wonderful experience here. I recently moved to New Orleans and had a poor experience with my three dogs at another clinic in the area, which had excellent reviews on Unilocal,so I was reluctant in trying another new veterinarian. I’m so happy I found Pets R Our World. Dr. Jess is one of the kindest people I’ve ever met, and it is obvious that she loves what she does and is not just in the business for the money. All three of my dogs took to her and her wonderful, caring vet techs instantly. The girls at the front desk were also lovely to work with. The clinic is immaculate, yet doesn’t feel as «sterile» and unwelcoming aesthetically as other vet offices I’ve been to. My dogs especially loved the toy box in the exam room and the treat and tennis ball goody bags they got for being so good at their visit. As far as costs are concerned, of course vet visits are expensive, especially with three animals, but prices were very reasonable. Overall, I am so impressed by Pets R Our World, and I will most definitely be recommending this clinic to everyone I know who has pets!

WE LOVE DR. JESS!!!
We have so much love for Dr. Jess and the way she runs her practice. Her lead tech Darrel is great with our cats, and he knows his stuff. (I have a lot of love for vet techs, too. They can make or break a practice.)
Three well-​cat visits (including two shots per cat) in a day with two former ferals, and no one hissed at the vet or the tech… well, that’s good handling. Dr. Jess has a great way with cats, and I am so grateful we found her. Her prices continue to be worth the drive, and her care is superb.
One of my favorite features of this practice is the way the waiting room is designed. At first glance, the segmented waiting room seems a little bit odd, but the divider in the middle makes it easier to keep animals from getting worked up. Our leash-​walking cat was able to sit by the front door and watch traffic (which he loved) while a dog on a leash was on the other side of the room, waiting for her human to finish some paperwork. Both animals were calm because they weren’t forced to share sightlines. It’s a little thing, but it makes so much sense!

I’ve started taking all of my pets here since I moved to Jefferson county. They have a really caring, local feel to them. But today I had to put down one of my animals, who I love more than I could possibly express in a Unilocal review, and they were just wonderful through every step of it. I could not commend them more. Great on a regular day, fantastic on a heavy day.
