We are a retail flooring showroom featuring carpet, tile, vinyl, ceramic, laminate and hardwood. We employ our own installers so you can feel comfortable with the individuals entering your home. We are also licensed contractors that can handle your light home improvements, as well as all types of remodeling, additions, decks, window and roof replacement.

History

Established in 2003.

Blue Ridge Floors began 32 years and was purchased by a former employee 10 years ago.

Meet the Business Owner

Kurt B.

Business Owner

Kurt began working for Blue Ridge Floors when he was just 14 and continued with them through high school and college. After earning a degree in Business Administration and Accounting, Kurt worked for a construction equipment dealer for three years and then did a stint as an electrician. Kurt got his MHIC license in the fall of 2002 and opened his own home improvement business in January 2003. The following year, his former boss at Blue Ridge approached him about selling the business, and Kurt successfully merged the flooring and home improvement business to form Blue Ridge Floors and Home Services, Inc., in March 2004.
