Studio 1 Salon provides several add-​on services, like special event hair services, cosmetic make-​up applications, waxing, manicures, and pedicures. We have state-​of-​the-​art pedicure units that have a disposable foot bath liner for each and every client.

Our team of stylists believe in education and use salon professional products only. All of our stylists are equally trained and love what they do. Our team of certified color specialist perform color design specific to the clients individual lifestyle and desires. Our specialties include:

Meet the Business Owner

Joan Prenger P.

Business Owner

Owner of the highly successful Studio 1 Salon for 30 years, Joan enjoys sharing creative, efficient and effective ways to work smarter instead of harder.

According to Joan, «Education is a Must!» She has been a professional business trainer and life coach since 2005, and has been interviewed in Skin Inc. Magazine, and in Day Spa Magazine.

Joan brings leadership, laughter, and creative thinking into every situation, empowering others to create newness everyday.

She was one of sixteen board members on the State of Missouri Industry Advisory Council for the Missouri Career Education Board, & served on the board of Cidesco at Merrill University.

She is currently serving as Past President of the Jefferson City chapter of Zonta, a national women’s organization. She is also a volunteer of the Non-​profit Organization, «Dreams to Reality» and was instrumental in the start-​up of the Fund Raising Committee which raised over $ 30,000 within four years.
