Customer service is substandard. TV guide is outdated in the room and front desk was not willing to contact cable company for an updated tv channel list. I contacted the company with no issue. Breakfast had missing items at 7:30am. ie. No cream cheese for the bagels. Danishes were stale, most bananas were brown. Bed pillows are older, flat and uncomfortable. Cigarette holes in the bed comforter.

About 5 min drive to capital building. Hotel is dated but otherwise nice. The pool and hot tub were dyed but nice indoors. I like that they have outside access from the pool area so the room can be aired out. We will stay again for a weekend getaway :)

Let me start off by saying that I would never recommend this hotel. The floors were filthy, the wallpaper was peeling, and all of our bedding and mattresses were stained. However, the service prevented a one star review. I stayed at the hotel with a group of about 30, and we all ordered pizza at about midnight and ate it in the lobby. The woman working the front desk was friendly and provided us with plates and napkins, with no complaints whatsoever. Although I appreciated the good service, the cleanliness was more than lacking.

Clean, cheap, looks a bit dated but the staff is very pleasant. Breakfast is pretty skimpy — cereal, bagels & coffee is about the extent of it, nothing hot. I’m not sure what kind of traveller would have trouble locating a place that is quite visible from a major route(highway 54); I found it easily. In fact, it’s close enough to the highway that you’ll get some truck noise if you’re on the south side of the building. Ask for a room away from the road if you’re a light sleeper.

We pulled in very late(late enough to be early, in fact) and were greeted immediately by the night clerk who set us up in exactly the sort of room we needed quickly and efficiently. The room was very clean, the bed was great, and everything beat my expectations for the price.

My stay here started off with driving around desperately trying to find this place. Between a printed off Google map, my iPhone, and my Magellan GPS, I couldn’t find it. And when I called, the guy at the front desk couldn’t really help me find it either. After about an hour of searching, I finally arrived. Thankfully, the guy at the front desk was very nice. So my irritation at his inability to give directions to a place he works in a place he has lived for years somewhat dissipated. The interior looks and feels a bit old and rundown. The elevator squeaks and shakes in a way that makes you search for the stairs. And the only ice maker is in the lobby. The room itself, though, was quite nice and decent. Fairly large, small microwave and fridge, ok bathroom, etc. So no complaints about the actual room. The morning continental breakfast, however, was the saddest Days Inn breakfast I’ve ever seen. Overall, it’s an ok place. Though, I have to admit that next time I’ll be searching for a hotel in a better(easier to find and more convenient) location.
