I was in Pittsburgh for the Summer working on a research fellowship. All of the stop and go traffic made my brakes wear out faster than expected. Not having a local mechanic, I started a search that is never much fun. I was quoted a ridiculous amount of $ 600 for new front pads, rotors, and rear shoe adjustment at a local chain! I then visited Ted’s. He was exceptionally nice, speedy, and ended up charging me less than the $ 212 he quoted me. If I lived in the area, Ted’s Auto Service would be my new go-to guy for auto repair. I am truly shocked he didn’t have a line out the door. Back home this guy would be swamped with business.
