Established in 1880.
The Woodbridge Inn has been a part of the North GA hospitality scene since all the way back to 1880. Originally named the Lenning Hotel, the building has long been a lighthouse for weary travelers in the area.

That old phrase «Never trust a skinny chef» always gets a big smile out of Hans Rueffert, it reminds him he’s still on a mission to prove it’s so not true.
Chef, restaurateur, author, educator, motivational speaker are all titles he wears comfortably, and cancer survivor can be added to that roster. Hans’ bio includes a few twists and turns that most culinary professionals have never experienced, including a near-win of the 2005 series Next Food Network Star.
Growing up in his father’s restaurant kitchen of The Woodbridge Inn, Jasper GA, Hans locked in on a love of the food service and hospitality industries early in life. His father Jochem (aka «Joe»), who emigrated from Germany, was a community leader and an esteemed restaurateur, and Hans ultimately followed in his footsteps, taking over the Woodbridge kitchen in 1995, and ultimately purchasing the historic inn in 2009.
