Here you can leave behind a complex, hectic lifestyle and enjoy a simpler existence. We specialize in providing a place to relax. You will be miles from town so there will be no cars, no trucks, or trains to be heard. Just crickets chirping, cows mooing, bullfrogs ribbeting.
Sitting on twenty private acres and bumping up to the Buffalo National Park, this secluded setting lends itself to relaxing, exploring, and enjoying a lifestyle in harmony with the Ozark Wilderness.
History
Established in 2006.
In January 2006 I purchased what was to become Frannie’s Cabin in the Ozarks. It was to be my home. The cabin was perched on a ridge overlooking millions of Ozark National Forest acres. This view was too spectacular to keep to myself, especially when viewed from the hot tub on the back deck. The next year I started renting the property so that others could also rest and relax there.
That was the same year I purchased what is now Frannie’s Cabin on the Buffalo. It was also to be my home, but again it was too lovely to keep to myself and I began renting it also.
This last year my first cabin was sold and Frannie’s Cabin in the Mountains is being built.
Meet the Business Owner
Frannie H.
Business Owner
After 30 years of being an elementary teacher in Portland, Oregon, I returned to Arkansas to retire and recuperate. Looking for something to do with my time, I decided to turn my lovely home overlooking the Ozark National Forest into a rental. The next year I turned my second home, a log cabin overlooking the Buffalo River National Park, into a rental also.
February 2013 I married an old acquaintance of mine. We grew up in the same neighborhood and we were in the same high school and college classes. Now we work together as a team, making «Frannie’s Cabins» even better than before.
