We had the pleasure of dining there recently and were very pleased. The place is old and dated but clean. My friend and I both had their steak. Both our steaks was very good. They started with a good cut of meat. The meat was cut thick enough that the cook was able to prepare it just the way I like it medium rare or maybe I should say rare medium(seared on the outside and warm on the inside). My friend prefers not to see the color red in her meat. Most places try to cover the plate with a thin piece of meat that can only be cooked well done. I prefer more altitude on mine with a smaller foot print. When we finished there was only a small piece of fat left on each plate and no grizzle. The taste was excellent without trying to hide it in the«special salt sauce» that a lot of places use to cover the taste. The service was excellent. The Cook even came out to make sure our steaks were done to our satisfaction. Both steaks were cooked just like we ordered them. The salad bar was small but still a good fresh selection. The baked potato was a little overcooked. I observed another customer eating a good looking cheese burger and that will be for my next trip. It will be a hard choice but I guess you shouldn’t eat steak every time but then again«Why not?»
