DISAPPOINTED AND EMBARRASSED!
For Valentine’s Day, I purchased long-​stemmed red roses. Unfortunately, roses did not last beyond 10 days … by Tuesday Feb 23rd, they were done and in the garbage. These roses were properly cared for, trimmed, water changed as needed by my girlfriend but to no avail. Roses received by my girlfriend from others (family members, friends) are still on display in her home & office. I guess my roses were NOT as high quality as the others!
This was my first (and sadly) last purchase from this establishment.
p. s. after posting this review, I did contact the establishment. They noted roses typically last 5 — 15 days.

Today is my Gramma’s 89th birthday. I am a bad granddaughter, and haven’t gotten around to buying and sending a card across the country. Whoops :(
Sweet William and Thyme to the rescue. I called them around 3pm EST, ordered a lovely little bouquet, and had them deliver it same day. I spoke with Amy on the phone and she was nice, helpful, and even gave me a call back to let me know that the flowers had been successfully delivered.
I ordered an arrangement with a base price of $ 47.95. After taxes and delivery, the total was just over $ 60 – reasonable for a nice arrangement and same day delivery plus the level of customer service I got.
Compared to previous experiences with 1800flowers, this was a dream. Would recommend.

SO disappointed! I like to use local businesses when I can so I searched for a florist near my boyfriend’s mother’s house. I ordered the yellow smiley-​face cup with roses and daisies from their website (it is still on their home page). It made me smile to think about her drinking her coffee out of that cheerful cup for many mornings to come.
What she received was four or five sunflowers in cheap, clear vase. If I had wanted to send sunflowers I would have picked a bouquet of sunflowers.
I would highly recommend AGAINST ordering from the website.
Update 8÷5÷13 — Received a call from Amy. They say the order they received was for sunflowers and maybe I clicked the wrong button. Not sure how that could be the case since I clicked on the picture. She suggested next time I just call them.
I still recommend against using their website. But at least they didn’t just randomly decide to send something completely different than what I ordered. So I am going to change my review from one start to two.

My husband used to send me flowers from Sweet William’s all the time. He’d go into Jamesburg and pick out the exact flowers he wanted. On the occasion day the flowers would be delivered to me by the nice ladies who own the shop. I was never disappointed. And now, that my darling, sweet, husband has passed on I find I truly miss my lovely flowers. Flowers are intangible. Yes, they cost a lot but the meaning of those buds meant everything to me

This was my 5 year old daughter’s first time getting flowers delivered to her. They are so beautiful and fragrant– a perfect arrangement! The delivery woman was exceptional, making sure my little one came to the door, and wishing her a happy birthday. My daughter was all smiles and has been telling everyone she sees that she got flowers delivered to her by a nice lady. Priceless!
I will definitely be using this florist in the future.

DISAPPOINTED!
My parents recently moved to Jersey and I was unfamiliar with any florist shops in the area. I wanted to send my mother a bouquet of flowers for her birthday. With the good reviews I thought this place would live up to my NY standards. I spoke with Amy who was very nice and we agreed to a $ 45 bouquet as she said «tightly» made with no vase. Unfortunately that is not what was delivered. (I posted the pic)
I called Amy immediately who informed me that she would pick up my original delivery and provide me with something better. The second delivery was better but it was still not worth $ 58 (tax and delivery). A few roses, few gerber daisies and some fillers is about $ 15 in Brooklyn.
I give two stars for friendly service but the pictures on the website are a complete exaggeration of the real thing.
So so disappointed. Lesson learned there is no place like New York for quality. Next time I will have ti buy flowers in Brooklyn and bring them to Jersey it will be cheaper and way nicer.

One of the few florists left that still treat you like a person and not a sale. They have a great selection of flowers and gifts and even hold occasional events. For as little as a single flower or as much as your wedding arrangements, you will be highly satisfied.

The bouquets can get pretty expensive but they have a decent selection of flowers in season and the staff is pretty helpful in helping you choose a good combination for that special occasion. They’ve also been pretty honest with which roses would last and they do tend to stay fresh for longer than usual. Thus overall the service is friendly and helpful. But the prices do make a dent in your wallet, so it’s not for everyday hehe. At that price you might expect a bit fancier of a bouquet but they make up for it in freshness.
They also have cute balloons. :)
