I called and made an appointment for an air bag recall.
They changed the air bag but in the process scratched the left bumper. Most likely when they were moving the car. The scratch was definitely not there before. When we complained they denied everything and refused to take responsibility. Even for a warrant service I would definitely take my car elsewhere in future. For all car owners who decide to have their Toyota serviced here make sure you take detailed pictures of your cars before you send it in. The level of incompetence, carelessness is just astonishing.

Wish I could give zero stars. This place is the absolute fucking worst. Non existent customer service skills and straight up highway robbers when it comes to your money. There always seems to be something wrong anytime you take your vehicle in. Sometimes I feel as though they purposely fuck shit up in your car so that the next time you go in, they have another reason to take your money. So fucking done with this piece of shit dealership. All the employees there should have massive pounds of shit dumped on them.

Buying a car, in some respects is more difficult than buying a house. Cars have a lot of add ins and features that can dramatically increase the price, and the trick is, just read carefully and ask questions as to what is being paid for. So with this quick statement, on to the review.
Wayne answered all my questions and addressed all my concerns. All you have to do is just make sure I was comfortable with everything.
Mike Issa helped me understand the costs effectively and was able to get me to a finance I was happy with.
I am so happy I went with Wayne’s recommendation on the right vehicle for me, and have felt my experience with Wayne and Mike was a positive life changing experience on my out look as to why so much money is spent on cars.
If I plan to buy a car again, I would love to buy from Wayne and Mike. They were fun to work with and am so pleased with my transportation investment!
Hope everyone just tries to work things out with sales/​finance before going home with keys and coming back upset. As for now, I am very happy to have used Lee’s Toyota, and plan on using them again.

the stuff was courteous, didn’t try to push me for any unnecessary job. They preformed the recall on time. Called me a few days latter to make sure all is well.

Everyone include sales and the manager in this Lee Toyota dealer is a big liar and would not honor the price in the true car certificate. This is the 2nd time. First time, I didn’t print it and they said that they can’t honor the price I received from True Car. Second time, I print the certificate and they claimed there is mistake and tried to say True car didn’t include the destination fee which is incorrect. They just waste my valuable time.
Do you homework before you go or they will steal your money from the sales.

Service dept. review. Prius 100K service went fine. Their waiting area is awful but I see they added wifi since my last visit; I didn’t wait there.
If you look on the wall where they write up your service report you will see they charge by either an hourly rate or the shop rate manual (Google it). That basically means whichever price works best for them.
I had no issues there.

This place will absolutely lied to you. I received a letter from Toyota about airbag recall. On the letter it state to contact Toyota dealer for a rental because they don’t have a remedy till sept. I called Lee’s and they told me they don’t offer rental because the fix is here and just have to book an appointment. I try to book an appointment, but they told me it is not available till sept. Toyota not Lee’s told me they don’t have parts for NY yet. This mean Lee’s is avoiding rental trouble just to push customer to sept. By right, Toyota told me if they cannot provide immediate airbag fix, for safety reason, they must provide a rental either in dealer or from 3rd party like a rental company. All paid for by toyota.

From my last time issue happened. Finally their rep called my and asked me for the copy of proof. I did right away then waited. Almost a month later till now. I do not get no reply at all. And now I m calling again trying to find somebody to ask. Again, they transfer me directly to mail box. I will tell everyone around me DO NOT buy anything from them.

PERSPECTIVE BUYERS BEWARE! Based on our (attempted test dive/​purchase) experience of August 7th.2015. All of the negative reviews posted about this (Lees Toyota, Queens NY) dealership are 100% true and accurate. The sales staff — and managers — at this dealership have NO RESPECT for the value of YOUR time! Likewise, they DO NOT respect your intelligence as a perspective buyer. Also — they have (little to any) real product knowledge! Really! That said. .. the car (2015⁄16 Toyota Camry) is (in my opinion) a GREAT car. This dealership. .. . well. .. NOT SO MUCH! ! !
If you go there (Lees Toyota of Queens) to buy a car. .. be prepared to waste a LOT (AS IN ‘HOURS’) of your time! And, if you plan to request a «test drive» (silly you) «fa-​get-​about-​it»! It just ain’t gonna happen — in THIS lifetime!

The review is about service. Use the business places as a middleman for our purchased vehicle thru the employee program.
We were told by Toyota main office two weeks ago that our vehicle is being shipped to this location. Advised to be patient as it being done as a courtesy. Waited for the dealer’s call and decided to make a follow up call on its second week. Spoke with the sales manager Joel and gladly help us about the inquiry. The salesman was very friendly, explained step by step the procedure of claiming the car, not pushy of making some sales (thru financing), did not feel that he was just doing it as a courtesy, we felt that we were new customers and he met our expectations and needs. After all the paperworks signing, we were told to come back a day or two for the final step– owning it.
So we returned. The process did not take long. The salesperson was efficient, friendly, professional and easy to deal with. I would recommend this associate to our friends in needs of Toyota vehicle. The location is the closest to our area. Easy to find and parking is not bad to think it is situated within busy crossed streets. Lots of their vehicles were on their display floor. Disappointed though that I did not see in her spot the famous «JAN». Lol!
I would like to come back and do business if needed.

I brought my wife’s Prius for a service and decided to take a look at used Venza, as I am looking to buy one. Few Asian salesman where on the phone not noticing me at all. I was there for 10 – 15 minutes nobody even said «hello». Finally after I asked for some help, the salesman tells me that I can’t test drive the car since his manager is not there, maybe tomorrow.
I go to see the floor manager Steve, who tells me that they are not set up with Insurance for test drives, and I can’t test drive a car??? He said «we still sell 40 used cars a month without test drive», I asked him «would you marry your wife without seeing her first?»
What a stupid joke of a business.

This dealership is full of thieves — manager, sales people and support staff. They quoted us one thing and promised a slew of discounts. Actually thinking that people were honest, we did not check over the actual documents (our fault) and they basically charged an additional $ 3000 and did not give us any of the dealer discounts they promised. When I went back to the dealership a few days later after I realized mistake, the manager promptly informed me that my concerns were nothing but dramatics and dismissed me, saying that the car registration had already been filed and nothing further could be done. If you want a pleasant and HONEST experience DO NOT GO TO LEE’S TOYOTA. I am also filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.
AND one star is being super generous. I would have given them zero if it was possible.

They almost get 3 stars alone for being open on Sunday for service (not possible in NJ and most other shops aren’t open, just sales).
They are very busy, though, and the check for a battery on a walk-​in… probably 2 hours. Still, they were courteous and were clear at the expectations of waiting. My normal shop is cleaner and sharper-​run (more service people working, though this could just be a weekend concern), but it’s nice to know there’s a possibility in the city for a weekend fix.

Having had some disappointing car buying outings in the past, I was pleasantly surprised with Lee’s. I found the place through Costco’s auto program, which advertises set prices and a no-​haggle experience — though, I’ve used the program previously and there are definitely some varied interpretations of «no-​haggle» among dealers.
Lee’s lived up to the promise. I worked with Rankin, who was honest, straightforward, and extremely helpful — an utmost professional. He made sure I understood every part of the process and every line of the contract. He made the effort to get in touch with me by phone and email frequently.
The other staff were similarly helpful. Even the finance manager didn’t pressure me – a rarity. There was also a used vehicle expert who gave me a very fair deal on a trade-​in.
I received my new car pretty quickly after signing, and the dealer followed up with me afterward to make sure everything was alright. Overall, this was the best car buying experience I’ve ever had.
