Terrible company, rips off passengers. I will never fly this airlines again. You are better off paying more to fly with someone else.

If I could give zero stars I would. I will NEVER fly Jet airways again I will also make sure everyone o know knows not to fly them. They cancelled my flight without any notice forcing me to buy a brand new flight home. The staff at the ticketing office in Bombay are horrible and SO rude I didn’t know what to do. They ruined my entire trip and costed so much money. I don’t understand how people sleep at night being this rude and horrible to people. My dad spent hours on the phone with them trying to get me back on the flight with no luck. I’ve never written such a horrible review for someone until now and the words about how terrible the experience was aren’t even available. But the best advice I can give is if you want to enjoy your trip and speak with mannered people DON’T FLY JET. I’m sorry jet airways not only have you lost me as a customer but you’ve also lost everyone who I know as well.

Following are the repeating answers from Jet Airways for all of the questions below. In the email, Jet Airways said:
1) «The ticket has to read name as per Passport. As an airline it would not be possible for us to give an assurance to the Passenger of being accepted without the middle name as it is a prerogative of the immigration officials.» Questions: Is it the reason Jet Airways refused to let us to board the planes? If yes, is it fair for Jet Airways to simply choose to ban us to board the planes without help to add our middle names to Jet Airways tickets? By the way, my husband and I have traveled to many countries with only our first and last names on the airplane tickets without problem. I can provide proofs to you as requested. Also, in the previous email, I have included testifies from customers who boarded Jet Airways without middle names on the tickets.
2) «Ticket were purchased from online travel agent, agent have to guide the guest of the policies.» Questions: Does Jet Airways authorize Expedia to sell airplane tickets and collect the money for Jet Airways? If no, this means Expedia conduct illegal business. If yes, is it fair to expect Jet Airways to work with Expedia to clarify confusion for the end customers and why? Without our middle names added, Jet Airways could not verify to let us boarding the planes. On the contrary, is it fair for Jet Airways to expect Expedia and American Express identify us and charge to our credit card without our middle names and why? (Note: Expedia only mark First and Last Name are required information).
3) «Sales support do advise name correction can be done with USD100/​-​penalty.» Honestly, I don’t know why two Expedia customer service representatives and their supervisor could not add our middle names to Jet Airways flights tickets after hours and days contacting Jet Airways and I have agreed to pay not only USD100/​penalty but also the different increased price to rebook the flights. Questions: About this matter, is it fair to expect Jet Airways to cooperate with Expedia to accomplish the task and why? (I guess Expedia must cancel the flights before rebooking and no credit is given since the tickets are non refundable)
4) «Tickets are non refundable as per the fare rules of the ticket.» Questions: I did not ask for a refund. I ask for the service that I agreed to buy. We honestly work hard to earn our money. What fair service that Jet Airways intend to provide us to get approximately USD2400 of our hard earning money and why?

Jet Airways you have lost it completely! So I booked a ticket from Pune to Chicago last month. I am traveling with a friend of mine and had she not informed me that our flight from Pune to Abu Dhabhi is cancelled, I would not have known and looked for alternate flight. So then, I call up the customer care office in US as well as in India. They tell me you will have to write an email to change the itinerary. Jet Airways have you hired dumb people or is it just your culture? Because they had no idea what I was looking for! And surprisingly, in the fifth call, they help me to change the itinerary. I asked them why Jet Airways has not informed me about the flight cancellation, the customer care rep talks anything but not the reason! IF YOU DO NOT KNOW THE ANSWER, JUST SAY YOU DONT!
The story does not end here. After the change in the itinerary, I was told I will get updated itinerary n 48 hrs which I did not. Also, as they had told me to write an email initially to change the itinerary, which I wrote, Jet Airways promised me that they will get back to me in 72 hrs. I got reply after 5 days. And the reply is the snapshot of the itinerary in their system which is in some sort of code language. Now, how do you expect us to understand your codes Jet Airways?
Overall,
1. If you cant provide a service, why sell the tickets in the first place? Flights from Abu Dhabhi to Pune are cancelled till March! This is ridiculous.
2. Teach your customer care rep how to talk. For 3 minutes, your rep was arguing with me that I should not mention ‘YOU cancelled the flight’ I should say Jet Airways cancelled the flight! Jet Airways, doesn’t your customer rep represent you? Pathetic customer care service.
3. You cause INCONVINIENCE to us and you expect us to write emails and make several calls to you?
4. Why I did not receive any communication about my flight cancellation from you?

I WILL NEVER TRAVEL ON JET AIRWAYS AGAIN. The ground staff in Mumbai was disgusting, unprofessional and a bunch of untrained college kids. When I reached the Mumbai Jet Airways desk at the International Airport from my flight from London, I was ways under my checked-​in baggage allowance of 46 kgs for international travel. The Jet Airways staff allowed me only 15kgs and made me pay for the remainder even though I showed them my international Virgin Atlantic board pass to prove I had travelled from London. When I asked for the supervisor, Christian showed up and adamantly refused to honor the international travel baggage allowance and said that he could if I had traveled with them all the way with a single reservation. To make matters worse, they forced me to pay even for my hand baggage, after they made me weigh all my bags including my hand/​carry-​on luggage along with my checked in luggage and then made me pay for the difference over 15 kgs. I actually ended up paying more than a business class seat for this particular flight when the baggage charges were added, so I asked if I could opt to upgrade to business class which would allow the checked bags for free. This would mean that I could at least have business class service for the price I was paying instead of paying ways over that price for just extra baggage weight and traveling in economy. The supervisor Christian would not allow it, he said the person to make that decision would not arrive for another hour and that I was to wait outside in the waiting area of the airport. Frustratingly, I agreed to pay for the baggage and stay with the economy ticket. Interesting when I went to pay for the baggage, the Jet Airways cashier actually priced out the business class ticket for me however could not do anything about it without the supervisor’s approval. I will never consider Jet Airways for travel domestically in India nor abroad. This airline is NOT foreigner friendly.

I never even heard of Jet Airways before but my experience flying with them to Brussels (on route to Paris) was on par with Asiana Airlines which I use frequently for their excellent service.
1) Friendly and professional staff: I was very impressed with everyone, from the checkin staff to the flight attendants, pilots and even their customer service (yes I contacted them for some questions). The flight attendants (which you spend the most time with) were very nice, to the point where they will try their best to accommodate almost any request.
2) The plane configuration was identical to the configuration of Asiana airlines. The seat in economy had lots of leg room and had the large personal TV. The planes are new and seats were very comfortable.
3) Food and drinks: Asiana is still best at this, but Jet would be B+ for their very tasty dishes. Asiana however served drinks more frequently.
Overall, I would highly recommend this airline.

The absolute WORSE AIRLINE I have ever traveled in. Went from Colombo Sri Lanka to New Delhi India. Staff was rude. Flight was delayed. We missed our connection and they wanted us to come back the next day to get to our final destination despite the fact that there were flights leaving New Delhi airport. They just didn’t want to put us on another carrier. Also, they do not change the disposable head rest covers! So unhygienic. ABSOLUTE WORSE AIRLINE!!! DO NOT TRAVEL THIS IF YOU VALUE YOUR LIFE (AND SANITY)

Jet Airways shares Terminal 8 with American Airlines, so don’t get confused when you walk into the terminal. Checking-​in with the online check-​in was very easy, and when I got the the check-​in desk at JFK, everything went very smoothly, and the agents were very helpful, and super friendly.
The lines to get through security at JFK were absolutely awful, and halfway through, one of the Jet Airways’ agents saw me on line, and he just grabbed me, and pretty much walked me through security. Probably saved about an hour of my time, and I can’t say enough of good things about the Jet staff at JFK. They’re flawlessly attentive, and it seems like they are everywhere you need them!
The on-​flight service was good. Many of the headrests were missing the little head rest, and once in a while my hair would get tangled in the sticky part of the headrest. When I asked the hostess for the white rest they normally attach, she stated she had no extras. I suggest when they clean the planes to make sure they are on all the seats, because that was annoying during not only my trip from NY to Brussels, but my trip between Brussels & Chennai.
The meals were hot, and pretty good as airline food can be. Some of the passengers were complaining that they did not get the correct meal, and towards the end, many of the passengers that ordered non-​vegetarian meals were given vegetarian meals — which should have been accounted for. So in this case, my experience was fine, but other passengers may have been very upset with this given situation.
The on-​flight entertainment was free, including headphones. There were tons of TV shows, music, and movies to be seen! They have newly released movies, as well as some classics. They have wide selection of genres, and languages that you could watch the movies in in case you are not fluent in English.
The whole 20 hour trip was fairly painless as trips go when you’re travelling across the world. Overall good staff, good entertainment, and fairly clean as bathrooms, and the airplane goes. I would recommend travelling Jet, especially for economical prices in Europe, and travel to India.

The service of JetAirways has reached a unprecendented low.
I had a flight from Chicago to Kathmandu via New Delhi. In Delhi I had a 13 hour transit. I had two checked baggage from US and I had already paid extra $ 60 for one of the baggage.
I was planning on staying at the airport for the 13 hour transit but I had reserved a hotel just in case. Upon arrival at the airport I was told that due to recent rule change I could not stay at the airport. I asked the JET AIRWAYS staff whether there would be a problem for me because I would need to recheck the bags. I was told there would be no problem,
Upon coming back to the airport for my flight I was told I would need to pay RS 200 per Kilogram for my luggage. Please remember that in international flights almost all the airlines allow upto 100 lbs (45 Kilogram) of luggage free. I would almost have to pay $ 150 to check in my lugggage. There was another girl with me who was in a similar situation. We both argued with the JET AIRWAYS for almost 2 hours with 10 different people. We were almost about to pay since our flight would be delayed when we told them we will pay but we will complain and told them to give us complaint form. Then their tone changed and told us to just check it in.
So all they were they trying to do was bribe us out of $ 150 for the luggage. Are you serious? JET AIRWAYS is an international airlines and with that kind of service I will never recomment JET AIRWAYS to anyone. NEVER AGAIN will I fly this stupid AIRLINES whose staff dont have the manner nor the courtesy to follow the rules and regulations. It is this kind of practices due to which JET AIRWAYS will NEVER get my SERVICE AGAIN.

Great airline based in India with impeccable service. They share Terminal 8 at JFK with American Airlines (who they also codeshare with). Their European hub is in Brussels (what a wonderful city) and they have many partners allowing you to connect to other cities within Europe (or continue forward to India via Jet).
The flight attendants are courteous, professional, and respectful. Coach class feels more like business or first on a domestic carrier. Full hot meals are provided, free of charge, along with beverages of your choice (wine, beer, mixed drinks… again, all included, free of charge). The food is great, created by a Michelin rated chef. You have the option of 2 Indian dishes (one veggie) or a western-​type meal instead (you can also call ahead and request other special meals if need be).
In flight entertainment included built-​in flat screen 8″ televisions in front of each seat. All have on-​demand movies (new releases and classics), music, games, and more. There is no charge for this or for the use of headphones.
If all airlines operated with as much professionalism as Jet, the world of travel would be a much better and happier place.
