Refused to sell me because I was traveling from JFK to Puerto Rico. Try to explain a Puerto Rico is part of the U.S. The clerk told me it was considered an international flight. You just lost a client and all my friends I. Negative propaganda and anti-marketing starts now. Thank you for discriminating against Hispanics, specially from Puerto Rico

* Terminal 7 theme continues * JFK Terminal 7 just continues to let me down. Even the duty free shop has a fairly limited selection. It is rare that I stumble into a duty free and can’t find something I want to bring home. I almost didn’t buy anything as the selection was so limited. Prices were not terribly less expensive than at home either. So much for the benefits of duty free! But when I did buy a bottle rum(yo ho ho ho!) it was a pain in the butt to get it. They are supposed to have it packaged up and waiting for you as you board your flight. Of course the fairly clueless person with all the bags at the jetway couldn’t find my bag. Ugh. They called on their cell phone to the store, and they said they were already closed on a recorded announcement. So what is a guy to do who has already paid for a purchase, but has places to go and people to see(aka the flight is leaving soon). Eventually I convinced the clerk to walk back up the jetway and try to find someone who knew what was going on. They eventually sorted out the mess. But what a royal pain to save a few bucks on a bottle of rum. Just not worth the hassle.
