Steam table food. Not my thing, as I think it could be sitting there all day. The pine tarts are good, but just like any other bakery in queens, lots of dough… less filling. I took a bite of pinetart and mostly ate flour. I don’t know about this one… It doesn’t stick out to me as a «go to place».if you’re hungry I suppose it’ll do, but why settle for just ok when there’s a hundred restaurants on liberty. sorry Darbar.

Came on Unilocal looking for a roti shop that delivers and was happy to find this shop. We called to ask if they would deliver to our address and they kindly said yes. My husband is Trinidadian so he got me hooked on this type of food. we ordered doubles, aloo pie/channa, pholourie with tamarind sauce and curry chicken dhal puri. Everything was exceptionally tasty. Channa was well cook and seasoned. I’ve been to places where channa been undercook and that was a turn-off for me. But this place is the bomb I’m happy I found them and well most definitely order from them again.

Darbars never seem to fail me and hooray they now have this roti spot! It opened not too long ago and I must say I’m impressed. The polourie is nice and soft, the chicken patties are sooo good(filled with a nice amount of chicken, soft on the inside with flaky dough on the outside), the cassava balls and cook up rice are also quite good to try. The location is very clean and has a modern appearance, as well as being two minutes away from Darbars restaurant :) Prices are reasonable and you get very good quality food for the price.
